We stayed at this casa for 2 nights. In Havana, appearances can be deceptive. Much of Havana Vieja is very run-down looking, with rubbish on street corners and rubble in the roads., which doesn't give much confidence about staying there. However, off the street and up a couple of floors, it is a different story.

Casa Daniel Carrasco was very clean and well-appointed inside, with a comfortable room with a double and single bed. The bathroom was shared with others in the house but privacy was never a problem.

The room had air conditioning, somewhat noisy, but not half as noisy as the dogs in a neighbouring property which would not shut up barking early in the morning!

We had little interaction with the owner as we spoke no Spanish and they little English, and we were free to just come and go as we pleased.

Location was excellent as we were close to lots of great places in Havana Vieja, and enjoyed walking about the city.
