The road to the islands was good but weather was nothing special in February, very windy, but water was warmer than we expected. We were prepared for worst having read other reviews on TA and paying only £74 for full board for 2 people (booked through ww.cubaism.com). It’s a state run hotel but the chap at reception, in spite of... More

As many have noted, the beach is the main reason to go to this hotel. She is, in fact, very beautiful, although the distance between the ocean and the end of the sand could be bigger (and more flat). Also, chairs and other stuff on the beach were most on very bad conditions. So, if you are unlucky enough to... More

Beautiful hotel and great location. It felt more special than going to Varadero like everyone else. The island is so beautiful and the beach is absolutely gorgeous. Our suite was great, very spacious and comfortable and we had stunning views. The main downside was the food, which was not that great but it didn't ruin our stay! When we arrived,... More

Villas las Brujas means "houses of witches" - and this hotel certainly lives up to its name - in a most negative way. Both service and standard was a disgrace. There is in fact only one positive thing to say about this hotel: The beach is excellent. We met the first "witch" already in the reception, at arrival. A very... More

June 2008: The most amazing beach I've been on in my life! I could live there happily for the rest of my life. Each room is an individual villa with two big beds, a cute living room, a bathroom and a discrete balcony facing out over the ocean with stunning views. They give you towels for showering and towels for... More

We stayed at Villa Las Brujas for just one night. The villa is situated in the Cayerias del Norte, by a beautiful private beach and offers a number of individual houses, some with sea view, some without. The room was huge, beds comfy and the view from the private balcony stunning. The room was clean but a bit dusty. The... More

This is a paradise, far away and very different from crowdy places like Varadero. This is the only hotel in Cayo Las Brujas. It has something like 24 rooms (in the whole island). So if you're looking for a relaxing holiday you're in the right place! There's no entertainment, no nighlife... just sun, magic white beaches, blue water. That's all!!!... More

We spent 3 nights in Las Brujas: we loved it. Our room was very clean and bright with all facilities. The sea view we had from the terrace was just perfect. Mosquitos were around but mostly after sunset: bring some protection with you for it. The Farallón restaurant is pretty good, and is the only one in those keys (Brujas... More

I appreciate this is a budget location, but really there must be better 'non-all-inclusive' accomodation. We had virtually no water during our 2 night stay. The staff attempted to fix it and the resulting dribble allowed us to at least wash the soap off! The taps sounded like coffee percolators bubbling away to get a few drops out. I think... More

We stayed for four nights in Dec 2010. We were travelling around Cuba and wanted to stay at a beach for a few nights over Christmas to relax. We arrived by taxi (the 38km journey along a causeway is incredible!). Our room was large, with a sitting area and balcony, and two large double beds. It was pretty clean, although... More
