Problems: Was not met at airport on time. When BD rep finally showed up she said "Where have you been, I have been looking all over for you." I had been standing in the same spot waiting for someone and was about to take a taxi when she finally arrived. Did not have my size BC until the second day,... more

My husband and I stayed at Buddy Dive with a few other family members recently for our biannual dive trip. Like other reviewers mentioned you will arrive in Bonaire around 5:30am and will not be able to get checked in to your room. We were fortunate to get our room around 9:30am but were quickly disappointed by the discovery that... more

Stayed here for 11 days. Rooms were comfortable and adequate. Food was pricey, but comparable to other places on the island. Lunches at the pool bar were excellent. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The diving operations staff are the best. The drive-thru tank service couldn't have been any easier for shore dives away from Buddy Dive. (Pick-up a... more

Buddy Dive a truly a diver's dive resort. Everyone talks the talk and lives diving. This is a full service resort with all the dive shop, rental, camera shop, etc., amenities that you can think of. The best part of staying here is that the commaraderie among all the divers is fantastic. We met so many folks from everywhere, and... more

We stayed at Buddy's from May 9-16, 2009, it was wonderful. This was our first trip to Bonaire and we are new divers. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, we flew in on the red-eye from IAH, we paid for a extra night so our room would be ready when we arrived at 5 am. Our one... more

Great Place, and even better staff. My friend's back seized up, and Ina the manager of the reservations desk helped us arrange medical attention - everything worked out well. The apartment was spotlessly clean, all the appliances work well. Bathrooms were wonderful (and they did have curtains over the windows). Dive shop very professional, helpful. Equipment and tanks are clean... more

I just lead a group of divers to Bonaire this past April and once again we stayed at Buddy Dive. Dispite some damage from an October storm, everything seemed to be running well. (Old stairs are missing thought) The reefs were great as usually and perhaps better. We saw spotted eagle rays on most dives as long as sea turtles.... more

This was our 4th trip to Bonaire and Buddy Dive. This year there were 9 in our group. The House reef is wonderful. After 4 years we have gotten to know the divemasters quite well. They are a very professoinal crew. Always trying to make our dive experience exceptional. That is not too hard if you are in Bonaire. Buddy... more

Recently I visited Bonaire in the Dutch Antilles for the first time, it won't be my last. I will state firsly if you dive this is a MUST destination and Buddy Dive Resort is THE place to stay. While it is not five star accommodation, for divers it is surpassed by none on the island. Half our 27 dives were... more

We just returned from a week long trip to Bonaire staying at the Buddy Dive Resort, as part of a group of 12 divers from the US. We met there at the invite of friends and dive house owners from another Caribbean island. The Resort The resort had some high and some low spots. When we arrived at the resort... more
