I had a fantastic three week stay at The Lizard Inn during June and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. The laid back atmosphere was very relaxing and upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and a free drink. The huge studio room was spotless as it was cleaned every day with nice fluffy towels provided for the hot... More

Great place to stay and explore Bonaire. Rene the owner is such a positive and helpful person. He welcomed us with cold "Polar" (local beer). He's there for You and will help You out in best way possible. We rented scooter for few days and it was his (Rene's) suggestion to bring it inside for night time ( just to... More

we are overdue for another visit! rene was always helpful and kind. he's very upfront about costs; etc., so i'm not sure how anyone could have an issue! anyway, we loved our room, the 1st studio with a workable kitchen. loved the pool. rene was always helpful when we requested suggestions for snorkeling. it is a bit off the beaten... This budget hotel offers more than the price is promising. Rooms are well furnished and get cleaned every day .There's a possibility to make tea of coffee in your room. Outside, you can sit on a big shady 'island' with comfortable couches. Swimming pool ( small) is available. Rene, the owner, gives you the feeling you are the only guest... More

The pool will look a little smaller than its photo suggests, but don't laugh. Dipping into it after a day in the salt water is one of my many fond memories of The Lizard Inn. Since I don't dive and my husband does, I spent quite a bit of time simply enjoying the shade of the palapa and lounging poolside;... More

small, clean, quiet, friendly, reasonably priced, well maintained and run. rooms are not large, but not too small either. all equipped with electronic safe, dorm type refrigerator, and coffee/tea kettle (complimentary instant coffee and tea resupplied daily). bonaire water safe to drink out of the tap (desalinization plant) and with no cross contamination along the way, presumably of the same... Awesome host and very helpful. Always clean, will go back every year. Can't believe its only a block from the water and the downtown for food places is within walking distance. He also has an awesome scuba room for storing all your gear. Very safe always locked gates and doors, so you never have to worry about stolen items from... More

The lizard inn is a really good place to stay. Rene and his staff are professional and friendly and the hotel is extremely well cared for. The most important thing, is that I felt absolutely at peace here which is a reflection on how the staff manage their hotel and communicate with their guests. Rene is a diver and knows... More

This is a very nice place to stay! The owner René is really helpful and knows a lot about things in Bonaire. The rooms are nice, air conditioning and warm water are all included and everything is very clean. The pool and the area in the middle of the rooms are very cool places to hang out and meet other... Basic small inn, pool not available and in a neighborhood away from the water. We had a conflict over the rate they were charging versus what we were quoted via email and they tried to charge a surcharge to use our credit card. Instead of trying to resolve it, Rene became enraged and told us to leave with 2 nights... More
