The Villa-Safir is a gorgeous B&B. It sets high on a hill, providing a terrific view all the way out to the little out island, Klein Bonaire. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the rinse tanks and storage lockers for your dive equipment are well placed and so convienient and the location ensures you of a constant cooling breeze.... more

Whether you are a master diver, snorkeler or just want a relaxing place to sit by the pool, you will not be disappointed staying at Villa Safir Bed & Breakfast. We chose Villa Safir for its intimate setting, both for our wedding ceremony and our honeymoon. Peter met us at the airport car rental and we followed his pickup through... more

This was our first very trip to Bonaire. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the surrounding areas. The facilities are all new and the rooms were spotless. The building has a smart, lockable storage and cleaning area for scuba gear. What we enjoyed the most is the relaxing atmosphere - you completely lose track of... more

Villa Safir is perfectly situated on the top of a hill just minutes drive from Kralendijk where you have a fabulous view of the lights and plenty of stars (especially great viewing when they turn the lights off.) The room was nice with very comfortable beds and pillows (plus air conditioning of course.) There's the pool, lounge chairs, plenty of... more

If you are looking for somewhere to stay on Bonaire then look no further. We had one of our best weeks holiday ever here! The diving is great, the freedom of slinging some tanks in the back of your pick up, driving until you locate the 'yellow stone' of your choice (never very far!), and then diving usually with no-one... more

As the tired routines and noisy habits of the established dive travel industry finally begin to crumble under their own bloated weight, far more unique, personal, and soul quenching opportunities are beginning to emerge. One such transformative adventure awaits you at the Villa Safir. The early '70s models of "dive tough, dive deep, and strap on a colossal dive knife"... more

I won't mention anything about the fabulous diving on Bonaire; if you are considering the island you already know about that. Peter and Bianca are what make Villa Safir so special. Peter will meet you at the airport, even if your plane arrives in the middle of the night (KLM) or the horrible hour of 5:30am (Continental). Once you get... more

Peter and Bianca are gracious, wonderful hosts. They give you space if you want it, or will be available if you need them. A lovely b and b with a great view of the ocean from their hilltop location. Bianca and Peter made diving such an easy, wonderful experience; they know the sites so well - It was definitely the... more

Just came back from a week at Villa Safir and loved the hosts (Peter and Bianca) flexibility for meals, accommodations and knowledge about all the dive and snorkeling sites, dining opportunities, Bonaire history and local culture. It was always nice to come back to a quiet and beautiful villa from an outing whether it was diving, shopping or touring. Peter... more

We just returned from our second stay at Villa Safir and again it was amazing. What can we add to all the positive (and true) comments already posted? Besides the amazing view, the wonderful breakfasts and the villa, we loved the hospitality of the hosts the most. Bianca, Peter and of course the dog Tara truly treat you as their... more
