We stayed at the Casurina for 10 nights and it was our first trip to Barbados. We have been to many of the other carribean islands including Antigua and St Lucia and have always stayed in 5 star hotels inc Sandals and Riu so i would consider our expectaions to be relatively high. After reading the reviews on here before... more

Arrived on 28th June 2009 with Virgin Holidays (took nearly 2 hours from landing to arriving at ACB - due to Virgin insisting on using a coach for everyone rather than the taxibuses carrying 4 to 6 people). Usual rum punch upon arrival, most welcome. Taken to room in block 3, top floor, right at the end of the block,... more

We have just returned today 29th June 2009 and just had to write a review for those going out to the ACB in the coming months. We arrived on the 14th June from manchester traveling with Virgin, private transfer by a lovely 4X4 and driver who got us to the resort in under 15mins. Arrived at the hotel and was... more

My new wife and I have just returned from our honeymoon in Barbados and stayed in the Casuarina Beach. Our first impressions could'nt have been better. We were welcomed to the resort with cool towels and a glass of Rum Punch. What better way to kick off your Caribbean adventure? We were shown to our room shortly after arriving and... more

On arrival you are greated with a fruit punch and cold towel and are quickley taken to your room and asked to fill in your details and return the form the following day. We were in block 5 which is the furthest from the beach but the walk is attractive via the gardens. The food in the main was excellent... more

Having been to the original Casuarina before Almond took it over we had reservations that it would be so different that we would not be satisfied with the changes, but we were not disappointed!! The food was great and we loved all our meals, we ate in all the 3 restaurants and only had one delay in being served. You... more

Well my husband booked us into this hotel before reading the reviews here and to be honest we were afraid that we made a terrible mistake! I decided that I would mentally prepare myself for a Tunisian experience (I was once incarcerated half board for a week there. Therapy and alcohol helped me through the pain!) We were in a... more
