Reading these reviews I find it hard to believe we were staying in the same hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the beach, air con worked fine, very clean inside and out, tea and coffee in our room replaced every day. We found the food good and enjoyed not to have a buffet every night like you normally do... more

The room was dirty, the food was repetative, the beach was dirty, the staff treated people like they were second class citizens, and to really top it off we had no air conditioning 6nights out of the 7 that we spent here, had to get dressed etc in the public ladies toilet!!! Hated every moment there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

We have just returned from a 2 week break at the Escape, we had a room in the pirates block, where there are larger rooms for families. We found the food very good considering its a three star hotel. I will certainly miss the omelettes at breakfast and the yummy desserts! The beach is stunning, staff are friendly and rooms... more

We spent a week here and were very impressed with place. First the good bits. I usually get a bad back and after a couple of days on holiday and find I can hardly walk upright because of the beds. I asked at reception and another mattress when this happened, another arrived the same day...my back was great after that.... more

A lovely hotel, with a superb location. We were in the main block next to the beach. The room was sparse, but clean and functionable. The food is just fine, it is not 5* cuisine but you did not pay for that. The food is pleantiful and of a good standard, Juliette's omlette's in the morning are to die for.... more
