We had a 8 day stay at the Barbados beach club earlier this month and we had a fab time, Soomeone wrote that the food was like school dinners, we I don't know what school they went to , as the food was great something for everyone, Also all the staff were very welcoming and always had a smile for... On 9th of January we travelled out of Gatwick to Barbados on Virgin Atlantic, staying at Barbados Beach Club Hotel (Formerly another name) Christchurch area. We had luxury rooms on the quiet side of the hotel with sea view. The all inclusive meant all meals drink wine with meals and unending juice or fruit drinks. The beach was lovely although... More

I've just been reading through other people's reviews of the Barbados Beach Club. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, then this isn't for you. To the best of my knowledge, this hotel has never once advertised itself as anything higher than a 3 star. I've stayed in a few places in Barbados, and believe me, there are... More

We arrived at Barbados Beach Club to a dirty, dark, out of date reception area complete with mirrored ceiling. The receptionist was not particularly welcoming. Visited this hotel for one week as an all inclusive and I felt that it didn't have much, the facility was a major disappointment, no AC anywhere except in the rooms. We are a couple... More

There need to be more activities for the guest and nightly entertainment. The guy at the water sport shop, Steven has poor customer service skills or maybe he just don't see non white persons as tourist/customers so he need not be pleasant and respectful. The Staff, room and food were excellent. I will stay at this hotel again and recommend... More

We stayed there for 10 days from Christmas Eve until 5 th of January. Booking in was such a shock to us, the check in staff were unwelcoming and spoke very little to us that we had to ask question to find any information ie, direction to the lift and room, this continued with the check in staff for any... Hotel needs refurbishing. Christmas decorations recycled from the 60's. Staff needs to be properly trained especially to non-white guest from Trinidad. Many comments were heard from staff like, " We fed up and tired of Trini's. There were some pleasant staff but equal amounts of unpleasant ones, including Reception. It's a bit over-whelming to start your vacation faced with someone... More

One crappy restaurant with prison food for meals. The beach in front of the hotel is minimal and the sea is VERY rough...my friend and I went swimming in the ocean our first night and both came out with black eyes. The alcohol they use for drinks is very cheap and gives you a nasty headache. The pool is small... More
