Everyone is courteous and friendly, rooms are nice pool is clean, beach is right there with a bar, you can walk the gap for a late night drink or take a bus on the opposite side to just about anywhere and of course, Latisha at the activities center is the best.

10-15 minutes from the airport (approx $30-50 US can ride) depending on # of ppl and luggage. Located on the St Lawrence gap which offers many restaurants/bars and nightlife. I enjoyed cafe sol Mexican grill, pure ocean restaurant (great for breakfast n lunch if hanging out by the beach), Sharkeys (pricier but nice hang out n have drinks at the... More

This is my 2nd visit to Divi. (Aug 2014) Although its not the Crane or Sandy Lane, its still a nice hotel. Great location and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I will agree the building itself could do with some newer improvements, but only spend time in the room when it rained and to sleep... More

Very disappointed. Would not go back. Unwelcoming staff, rundown rooms, and rude receptionists. The beach is fantastic, Barbados is amazing, but find somewhere else to stay. I tripped over a broken step and tore a ligament in my knee, reported it to the head of security, he said he would send someone round to take a report, no one came.... More

The one good thing about this resort is the location, right in the heart of St Lawrence Gap. This was our third stay at the resort, we have stayed in the past mainly because of the convenience factor. This year we were there for Crop Over (carnival). Over the years the hotel has become more run down with very few... More

While a bit run-down, this hotel is clean and the staff is very hospitable. Good value for money as the rooms have a full kitchen, utensils, kitchen equipment, a separate bedroom and living room, with a balcony. Their restaurant is a short walk behind the hotel, with a fantastic view of the beach; with Bajan flavors. It is very centric;... More

My family of 6 (including 2 teenagers) went to Divi Southwinds and had a GREAT time! The resort is lovely. There's a large and always clean pool, a very nice 9 hole putt-putt course (no fee), 2 nice tennis courts, beautiful tropical grounds, a few green monkeys on the property (they are cute!), an amazing beach with easy access from... The good things: Great location, walk to many restaurants, beautiful beach, friendly and helpful staff, good air conditioning, good food at Pure Ocean (restaurant on site), mini golf and tennis at no extra charge, comfortable beds, very family friendly. The not so good things: Not every condo is renovated, water pressure in the shower was poor, buildings need a painting... More

This is the third time we've stayed at Divi Southwinds, in the past ten years. Lovely for a young family, with a fantastic Activities Centre supporting many activities, including their own mini golf course, tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball - and amazing massive pool with water volleyball! New recent additions including the free (fairly reliable) WiFi, and access to the new... More

The value for the money at Divi is good. There is not much activity at the hotel besides the pool, but the location is good, the hotel is clean, staff friendly and the beach is fabulous. No hassles at the beach. The beach restaurant/bar is nice too. Dinners at the beach restaurant are OK, a bit over priced for the... More
