We've been home for 2 weeks since we stayed at The House for 7 nights. We've had time for reflection on our visit. We went to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, which fell on our first waking morning - what a way to spend it! Breakfast, with plenty of champagne was taken on the decked area by the beach overlooking... more

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to The House and enjoyed our stay every bit as the last two trips if not more. The staff are always so friendly and helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The room was always kept tidy and clean and our breakfasts were delicious, espeially the glass of... more

So it's been 4 months since our 5 night stay at "The House" on Barbados, and I have to say I still don't know what to make of it! We stayed here post cruise following a 7 night southern Caribbean tour on the Windsurf (which we loved) and were expecting a luxurious chilled out boutique style beach break to end... more

I'm writing this while on the beach on my last night at the House. If you are looking for a super relaxing chIill out experience, then I would highly recommend the house. If you are looking for an action packed spot then this is the wrong place. The ambassadors treat you like royalty, constantly offering you goodies during the day... more

The House represents one of the best small hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Everything from champagne breakfasts to pool and beach side service was first class. The room was delightful and opening onto the garden facing the sea. The management was alert and efficient and the staff, all called ambassadors, couldn't be... more

Being used to luxury hotels of greater size and with more amenities.I was not sure how I was going to react to a boutique hotel. All the rooms are junior suites and I was on the ground floor so was able to walk straight from my room onto the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable, vital for a restful holiday. The room... more

just back from the house .... Lovely people and great service .... Loved the atmosphere . But , if you remove all that , the building look likes a 3 stars hotel ...It was the extension of the coral reef which was transformed in a luxury house ....Bathrooms/bedrooms are still 3 stars only unfortunately ... Otherwise , loved it for... more
