We booked our trip through a discount site online and arrived late Friday night. We contacted the famously hospitable manager beforehand in regards to our late arrival and my husband's extremely severe shellfish allergy. She promised a snack and drink of choice in our room upon arrival and a consultation with the chef and waitstaff to plan a menu for... more

I recently spent 13 nights at the hotel. Having read all of the previous reviews, I was really looking forward to staying at the Mango Bay hotel. The hotel definitely lived up to my expectations. The food and setting of the restaurant were fabulous. The water sport facilities were good and the location of the hotel in Holetown was excellent... more

Absolutely Fantastic! Having never been to the Caribbean we couldn't have picked anywhere better. We wanted somewhere that felt like luxury, but where you could still relax with a cocktail in the afternoon without being judged but read your book by the pool without ridiculously noisy people, have some fun in the evening, walk on a beach with a 'caribbean... more

The Mango Bay Hotel is wonderful. We arrived and were surprised by getting an upgrade free of charge to an ocean front room. Hotel room really lovely. Was a bit disappointed with the size of beach. Food and service wasellent. Lovely cocktails at the bar and afternoon tea was a lovely welcome treat. Manager's party was a lovely way to... more

Just got back from a five night stay at Mango Bay. The food was excellent with great variety and the service was unbeatable. The bar was very relaxing and a very friendly staff. A television to watch football in the bar would have been nice. The pool was very nice and had no problem getting a lounge chair to lay... more

We stayed here in June. We had read on the Hotel's website and Virgin's brochure about the standard rooms being noisy so we upgraded to a pool/garden view room. This was large and very clean. The King size bed was in fact 2 single beds pushed together. We had clean beach towels every night, a turn down service and the... more

Mango Bay is a haven of peace and tranquility. This was our second stay at Mango Bay and we will return whenever we can. The minute you arrive you feel completely chilled and totally relaxed. The hotel is in a beautiful private setting right on the beach yet only a stones throw away from Holetown. This time we booked a... more

Without repeating other reviews this hotel is located on the beach with its own pool. The food is very good/excellent but the portions can be a little on the small side if you like your food. All the staff were friendly with the bar staff and restaurant staff standing out. Now the bad stuff. The "standard" rooms at this hotel... more

My husband and I just returned from a week stay at Mango Bay. It was our first trip to Barbados and we like to compare to other islands we have been to. The water is so unbelievably clear, even when we were our in 30 feet of water on the catamaran, you could still see to the bottom! This is... more

We had our wedding at the hotel, it was so wonderful and went like a dream as promised by the wedding co-ordinator Josea. The staff at the hotel cannot do enough for you but my one drawback was the bar staff not enough interaction with the guests. The food was great and I think we went through the cocktail menu... more
