The whole "Coral Reef Club" experience exceeded our expectations. Having visited a large number of "5star" holiday locations around the world. We can assure furture vistors that it will be in their top ten of beach destinations. The hotel has a gracious elegance that runs through the entire estate but what really stands out are the qualities of the staff.... more

Just returned from another stay at Coral Reef. Working in the travel industry and mainly the luxury end of the market, offers me an opportunity to travel worldwide. For my personal family holiday we have stayed at Coral Reef quite a few times. I was most surprised to read the recent review of 26 July - these people must have... more

I can honestly say I've never been so disappointed with a hotel - ever. We walked in and immediately knew that it wouldn't be for us. Dirty, tired looking and what is going on with that pool?! We didn't want to stay there at all and immediately booked in to the Lone Star hotel which was absolutely fantastic. We disliked... more

This place is wonderful. The resort is set in its own wondeful surroundings. The beach is long , maybe not the sand pasted type but whats found just outside of that beach is amazing. The variety of coral is fantastic. The staff were very informaive, telling us of fire coral and different fish , of which there are many. The... more

Referred by friends and our travel agent, we took a short 4 day stay at the Coral Reef. Our vacation was right before they close the property for several weeks in June, so it was not very full. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. Friendly and accomodating staff, great water access, tiny but well manicured beach, nice pools,... more

The Coral Reef is an escape from the real world. It offers top-line service, beautiful gardens, and great food (room service is free) and excellent water sports. The price? Don't ask, just do it for a special occasion. You won't find many Americans, mainly Brits riding the wave of a strong currency. The formality is at first off-putting but soon... more

Our stay here was amazing!!! We wanted a quiet, relaxing, private get-away for our honeymoon and we got exactly that. The room was beautiful, the gardens were amazing, and the food far surpassed our expectations. It is definitely an older crowd there - we were probably the only ones under the age of 50. If you are looking for an... more

We stayed at Coral Reef for a week. It was the first time we had been to Barbados and we had an amazing time. Barbados is great and Coral Reef was the perfect place to enjoy it from. The hotel is very elegant and stylish but all in a very understated way and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There... more

DO NOT Stay here. My wife and I booked our Barbados honeymoon several months in advance, and after much deliberation, we decided on the Coral Reef Club. What a mistake. We have stayed in some of the best hotels/resorts around the world, and unless you've never travelled a day in your life, you will be incredibly disappointed. First off, there... more

We spent 8 nights of our honeymoon at the Coral Reef Club and were absolutely amazed. I'm the type of person who enjoys the finer things in life, but I also have a steak appetite on a hamburger budget. That being said, we wanted to treat ourselves to the best for our honeymoon. We selected the Coral Reef Club based... more
