My husband and I stayed at Sandy Lane for 10 days in September. Although we had been to Barbados several times and had visited the Sandy Lane spa before this was the first time we had stayed at the hotel. There are so many things to compliment the hotel on - generally it is a fabulous place to stay and... more

I was expecting perfection at $1200/night and received it. Sandy Lane was wonderful, from the friendly airport pick up to the fantastic room and food. I can not wait to return! more

My fiance and I just returned from a 3 day stay in Sandy Lane. We were told that this is the best hotel on the Caribbean. We've traveled to 11 different islands so far, and stayed at luxury properties on most of our trips. In our opinion, Sandy Lane is NOT the best one, it's definitely above average by far,... more

Spent five nights at this resort and although the accommodations were fantastic, i was disappointed on several occasions with the service. I selected this hotel because I heard such great things about it and it did not meet my expectations. The service was spotty. We had great experience with certain staff and not so great with others. The rooms are... more

'Sandy Lane' - what are name!We went and had a good time all together. To start with the mainly positive points, we loved the food and the Island overall as there more just the Hotel. The Service is continiously good and at a high level - we felt well looked after. The spa and Pool were amazing with a variety... more

If you're prepared for the mega-splurge, you'll have an easy time fitting in at this beach front country club ultra-luxe resort. Starting with the constant presentation of cold eucalyptus-soaked wash cloths spread about the resort, they don't miss a beat and are currently tied for 1st place in my list of Caribbean favs. The Rooms: We booked a 707 square... more

Great service even before we arrived....dinner reservations made for us each night and promptly picked up at the airport even though our flight was delayed. At check-in we were greated with a smile and an island cocktail. The rooms are exactly like they are pictured.....fabulous! Our favorite restaurants were The Cliff, Whispers, Lone Star, and Aqua. We had a great... more

We stayed at Sandy Lane for just one night at the end of three weeks island hopping in the West Indies. It was the most perfect culmination to a great holiday. From the moment we arrived at Grantley Adams Intnl Airport and were met by one of the hotel's Mercedes cars, complete with chilled bottled water, nothing was too much... more

I was very fortunate to be able to stay at Sandy Lane with my family and was highly impressed. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are beautifully decorated and furnished. Loved the electric control panels that control the lighting, curtains etc but beware the very slippery marble floors especially when it has rained which it did fairly often.... more

We stayed at the Sandy Lane by accident having suffered at the hands of a delayed BA flight enroute to PSV (which is lovely by the way). We were surprised by the down market and uninspring beach, the very audible road noise from the pool area which is shallow throughout. The whole place smacked of people trying to show off... more
