Admittedly it is a year since my visit but I doubt too much has changed. This hotel offered very poor value. It is marketed as a 4+ star but is in reality 3 star. The whole place was tired and jaded and in need of major refurbishment. On arrival we were offered no drink of any sort and were checked... more

We moved to this hotel for the last four days of our holiday after enduring the first six at the Turtle beach resort, we found it excellent on our arrival the staff had upgraded our room to a poolside terraced which we found delightful getting up in the morning and being able to walk into the lovely lagoon on your... more

Beat our expectations. Staff are excellent..friendly, helpful. Room was very good. Food was adequate , this is not an eating destination.( Lobster and jazz night was outstanding ) However with so much choice of resteraunt on the west coast this is not much of an issue. gardens and pool facilities are superb. Overall a high quality but pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. more

I want to begin by saying that I read several reviews about the Colony Club Resort before we booked our trip there. I had some concerns about the complaints I was reading from previous visitors. That being said, Having spent 4 wonderful days there last week I have to say that nearly every single complaint that I read had to... more

We started our honeymoon here and on arrival were given an upgrade on our room and a bottle of champers so that was a nice touch. The room was lovely and had steps down from the balcony into the pool. The place is "Nice" but that's about all I can say, the food is quiet expensive in the hotel, the... more

This hotel is one of the friendliest and cleanest that I have ever stayed in. The accommodation is roomy and the outside area has it's own entrance to what I can only describe as a lush and green, tropical pool area. The only criticism that I would have is that the beach attracts lots of locals trying to sell you... more

I am amazed at how many positive reviews this place gets. We stayed at this hotel in November 2008 for a week and can only say that i was very disappointed with the whole experience. If you are booking this hotel for a break and are looking for luxury, then you will still be searching when you leave. Normally i... more

We stayed at this place in late April for our honeymoon. We found the hotel a really nice place to relax and enjoy yourself. The front desk were extremely helpful in anything we asked, from restaurants to the local bus system. We rarely used cabs as the bus stops right outside the hotel and is cheap as anything at Barbados... more

I'd probably give this a 4* rating if it weren't for the food which is superb. Beautiful quality, presentation and of course taste. We've been on half board and have been able to choose anything from the a la carte menu. Tonight there has been a Lobster and Jazz night which was fantastic. It's certainly not a lively hotel, very... more

This was our second stay at The Colony Club in two years and was totally relaxing. The staff cannot do too much for you and we were remembered from the previous holiday. A lovely beach and great location for eating out and travelling about the island. If you want some R&R then it's the place for you. more
