My partner and i travelled to the Tamarind cove hotel to get married in June. We had been to barbados before staying on the south coast but wanted to try one of the hotels on the west coast. We read the reports about the hotel before we went and found them to be mixed so were a bit apprehensive but... more

My wife and I stayed here May 2009. We upgraded to an ocean front deluxe room but probably should have saved the money. Rooms are not any bigger than the standard, the view is better, just make sure that you get a second or third floor room. The bushes on the bottom floor block everything. We had problems with the... more

My husband and I travelled with another couple and stayed at the Tamarind Cove, the first week in May. The hotel is well laid out, it was clean, the staff were very pleasant and service very good, the food was excellent. We stayed on a full board basis and this was a wise move as meals/eating out are expensive. The... more

After 25 years we returned to Barbados for our silver aniversary, staying at Tamarind Cove hotel. Our first visit was to Treasure beach hotel next door, but kuoni had a good deal on tamarind and we were not dissapointed. We found the hotel charming and the staff excellent, especiall the cleanliness. So other coments about the hotel being dated are... more

The service at Tamarind Cove was very good and typically relaxed Carribbean style, which was what we were expecting. We stayed in two luxury ocean view rooms on the second floor. They were very clean and views from the rooms were exceptional. We are unanomus in thinking that the Air conditioning systems in both rooms were useful in climate for... more

We stayed for 3 days prior to a cruise and really enjoyed it. It was s lightly dodgy start when we were shown to and entered a room that was already occupied (!!!) but they made up for it by giving us a second floor ocean view suite (room 205) which was gorgeous. The location is just paradise, everything you... more

We stayed at Tamarind Cove for two weeks in March. It was our third visit. The hotel is spacious, clean, with well tended gardens and is on one of the best beaches on the island. My husband enjoyed swimming in the warm sea, and we paddled along the beach each morning. We found the staff friendly, the service good, and... more
