Absolutely brilliant hotel. We were welcomed by lovely Sharon who showed us our room. We were considering upgrade before arriving but never got to actually do it. Sharon helped us with it, we have got room number 25 which was brilliant. Was close to the pool, yet if there were people around pool you wouldn't hear/see them. Room was cleaned... More

Situated in a quiet area, within the Garrison Heritage area and a 20 minute walk from the centre of Bridgetown. Not on the beach, but as stated in the literature, only a 2 minute stroll from the lovely Pebbles Beach, where you can swim in the company of racehorses early every morning except on race days. These horses come from... More

This was our first trip to the Caribbean having preferred the Indian Ocean in the past so were a little anxious whether we would like Barbados and this hotel. Gee'd up by the reviews from previous travellers (many of whom were repeat visitors) we booked the Island Inn through British Airways holidays and were delighted with our choice. Why did... More

Just arrived back from the Island Inn, had a great time at the hotel but the guests were of the older generation and sometimes the hotel appeared like a scene from a retirement home, there were a young couple there but they felt totally out of place due to the older guests. We are a young mid fifty couple and... More

I was 70 in January and this holiday was my birthday gift from my husband, and what a wonderful choice it was. Lovely hotel, excellent, friendly staff, always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. They loved a bit of banter too. Earl and Renaud were excellent Barmen, and made us some fantastic cocktails. Our daughter and son-in-law we with us... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week in February 2015. This is a delightful small hotel (very) close to pebble beach (it's not, it's all sand). We were very happy with our room by the pool and the food offered by the hotel was of excellent quality. Staff were delightful and friendly. We travelled with Virgin and booked... More

We stayed at The Island Inn for six weeks in January & February . The hotel is a single story building of some 24 rooms built around a courtyard and pool area. Rooms are quite modern with doors opening onto a small patio area. Our room opened onto the small pool which was very useful for a cooling dip .... More
