We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Barbados. The weather was a little rainy but only showers compared to the uk - liquid sunshine they call it! We decided to stay in a villa this year - Gibbes House. We had a lovely time. Gibbes beach is beautiful and I would say the best on the island. The accommodation was great too. They have staff on hand to do all laundry, cleaning and cooking for you - a real holiday! They are fantastic with kids - we often used the staff to babysit so that we could sample the amazing restaurants on the island.

One week was just not long enough! Will be going again next year - can't wait. more
