There is nothing special about this hotel......its neat, its clean and it's quiet. It's a cheap place to sleep and not be bothered. This year we stayed for 10 nights. It's Bermuda rent a moped and go for rides and see the island. If you have a moped this hotel is a perfect central location to see the island. This... more

This hotel is old, tired and not at all as pictured. The halls and room were dirty. The previous reviewer says it all. The pool and restaurant were closed. Locks on door were minimal. Safe in room was not operational. We lost electricity when the coffe maker and AC were on at the same time. The walk is long (3/4... more

On arrival Friday afternoon I learned that the pool was empty, the restaurant abandoned, and the doors to the lounge's oceanview terrace locked. My room, however, was spacious with a view of the ocean (beyond the decrepit-looking pool area) and a lush hillside dotted with pretty Bermudian cottages. The bed was comfortable, linens okay, cable okay, fridge operational, all clean.... more

From: New York, New York, USA GREAT Location! We really enjoyed our stay at the Grape Bay Beach Hotel. After reading the many "reviews" we were concerned about our stay. Once we arrived (late after 10 pm), the security person showed us to our room (he did not show us how to work anything but did show us to our... more

This is the worst hotel ever. When we arrived they were sweeping rat feces from a room down the hall from us. This made a light bulb go off. There was no safe available as the last guest took the key. You have to shower very early to get a chance of hot water. Took 30 minutes to get a... more

What a mistake....when you view the Grape Bay Hotel online and note the property and location, you think this could be a wonderful experience...from the start of our stay, we received a rather luke-warm greeting, followed by a confused staff member. She did not have any of the reservation info correct...after a long day, we gave up and found our... more

This place is Horrible - that pretty much says it all. Peeling paint, broken AC, broken phone, room not ready for over an hour after promised check-in, and perhaps my favorite - hairballs on the bathroom floor. Here, a crusty old bagel constitutes a "continental breakfast." At almost $300 a night after taxes, you would be better served paying the... more
