This was our second trip to The Rosedon and we loved it again. The hotel is on the outskirts of Hamilton - close enough to be within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants, ferries and buses but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is as gracious as you will ever find.... more

In a word: SUPERIOR!!! The hotel itself (old world English Bermuda), the staff (none better), the food (breakfast on the veranda and afternoon tea) was excellent. The amenities included our package provided access to several major attractions (the time on Elbow Beach was great!). Try to book in one of the original four rooms in the main building: large with... more

Lovely older fine house, kept in great shape witha lovely pool. But oh the crappy breakfasts! And the advertised free ride to "a popular south shore beach and tennis club" is simply a lie. You arrive at a public beach and if you are lucky you'll find the guy who will give you your free lounger and unbrella. When it's... more

Visited this inn a few years ago. It was perfect for us. A small, quaint inn just outside the capital, able to walk into town. Able to eat "on the veranda" or in our room. more

I have probably stayed at the Rosedon 8 or 10 times so far (and am returning later this month) and I am very familiar with Bermuda and other accommodation options, so I feel the need to share my experiences with other Trip Advisor readers. I try to be objective in my reviews (I travel worldwide for business) as I find... more

This was my wife and my sixth stay at Rosedon. It has never failed to impress me with it's charm and appeal. It is truly a slice of old Bermuda. The room has always been clean and up to date. The staff is friendly and attentive and I have never had a problem with the service. Breakfast is fast and... more

After reading guidebooks & Tripadvisor's reviews, we chose Rosedon for a 3-nt stay in 8/.08. Its location is convenient to many restaurants/shopping/ferry. It's very quiet as it's well set back from the road. Grounds were very pretty (garden & pool), though there are many steps connecting the main house to garden/pool/rooms around the pool. Check-in & check-out were all very... more

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and could not find fault with anything! I was slightly wary before we got there because some reviews mentioned unpleasant smells in the bedrooms but this really wasn't the case with ours. The hotel was quiet and the pool rarely had more than 5 people around it. The breakfast was lovely and... more

The courtyard with the private pool and abundant local flora is incredible. Breakfast is inclusive and you can have it pool side, in room or on the front porch of the main house. Tea and sandwiches are served in the typical British tradition at 4:00 pm daily in the main house and patio. The location is a convenient 5 minute... more

Just getting back to reality after holiday of a lifetime. Rosedon is a wonderful place, on arriving thought it idyllic, magnifcent gardens, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast in a choice of areas, good idea. Nothing apeared too much trouble afternoon tea very civilised and weekly swizzle party a novel and sociable event. However, from middle weekend things went drastically downhill.... more
