My husband and I stayed at the Hamilton Princess from June 5 through 10 and could not have been happier. The hotel is beautiful as are the grounds and the two pools. Stayed here for a 4 day early summer vacation. The grounds are lovely, and what made this worthwhile was close proximity to downtown Hamilton. Staff was efficient, cordial if not friendly, and room was very nice. We are just returning from a super holiday at the Hamilton Princess. It was great to be able to use all the facilities at the Southampton Princess and to have a boat trip thrown into the mix, complimentary. Wesley and Derek Wheeler were friendly and enhanced our stay greatly.

Everything about the fairmont was more or less what we expected after staying at various locations before especially lake Louise in Canada.. It was a little on the expensive side but worth it. Special mention for Kanni the manager nothing to much trouble he also spent time in the uk with some interesting stories.

Without a doubt the best choice if you are not intending to spend your whole trip in the beach or on a golf course. You can do both very easily but they are not right at the hotel.
