- It is a very business oriented hotel as it is in the middle of the city - Only one restaurant with average food - Rooms are sparse - Walkable to a lot of places and near the shopping area (which is hardly anything to talk about) - Frequented by the rich local crowd for drinks - The much hyped... more

This hotel is in Hamilton, Capital of Bermuda. It is one of the oldest hotels on the island, but it is beautifully maintained and has all the amenities. We've gone so often, that we stay in the Fairmont Gold area, which has it's own check-in area on the second floor. With this package, you receive many extras. The employees (like... more

I have never been to Bermuda before and have nothing to compare this to. The property was lovely but had no beach (we knew this) and it takes 45 minutes total to get to its sister property. The grounds were nice and right on the water. Our first room was nasty and old, like an old Holiday Inn. We moved... more

Only complaint - could hear people in neighboring rooms, which don't want to hear in this class of hotel (much nicer than we're accustomed to). Afternoon tea was also somewhat disappointing. Other than that, the facilities were beautiful - lovely large pools, ferry to sister hotel on the beach, very attentive staff, nicely appointed room; hotel is a short walk... more

We are very glad we chose the Fairmont in Hamilton over the one at the beach - for one thing, the beach Fairmont isn't actually at the beach! Our room was clean, and the view was terrific - I reccomend that anyone staying there get a room with a balcony - we overlooked the courtyard and enjoyed watching all sorts... more

Just returned from 3 nights in the Princess with my wife. I was a little skeptical after some reviews, but it turned out to be great (Please note: my wife and I are hotel snobs so this is no small endorsement. It was not a five star hotel, nor does it claim to be. What it is a very nice... more

Spent a week at this hotel. Was always treated with respect and a friendly greeting. Found staff to be helpful and attentive. Hotel is best suited to business travelers and couples. Very convenient for shopping and lots of good restaurants. Beautiful view of harbor. I dont understand why some guests had a problem here. I find that if I am... more

The Princess Hamilton claims to be the “Grande Dame” of Bermuda hotels. The hotel, staff and accommodations are anything but superior. Here is a list of things that were completely unacceptable for a resort claiming to be a luxury hotel. Check in was not available upon arrival. Gift card credit was not available upon arrival. Concierge was supposed to check... more

The four of us stayed at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess for four days, to attend my son's wedding. We got there a couple of days before the actual ceremony, and all in all we were very satisfied. Not perfect, but close to it. The facilities are very good, and the free ferry over to the Southhampton Princess makes it very... more

My husband and I visited Bermuda for the first time and stayed at this wonderful gem of a hotel. We were unsure as to whether or not to stay at the sister property in Southhampton but happy we chose the Hamilton location as it is perfect for couples - less so for children - little to do for them other... more
