From reading reviews before trading out our Newport Coast property I had put in for both the Surf and Ocean clubs, and based on reviews I was reading was hoping to get the Ocean Club. Well we ended up with the Surf club and we have no complaints what so ever. Upon check in the front desk agent seemed to... More

We spent a week at the Marriott Surf Club and the only complaint I would have is the chair tags. Having to get up at 6:30 to reserve a chair around the pool was a little annoying. But, I guess at least they have a system. I would wonder though, are there enough chairs for everybody staying there? Other than... More

You can have the best experience here ! Whether you eat in your Room every night or in the restaurants. The room was perfect bed was a bit on the hard side but that's ok . They have a lazy river and a slide that goes into an enormous pool aside from the other three pools and whirlpool. Plus the... More

This trip was our first adventure to Aruba. We had booked the Marriott Resort through Interval International. Knowing it was a timeshare and a last minute reservation we were aware that we would not get a great room. Our room was a junior suite (Spyglass 8310) with microwave and small fridge. Our view was mostly of the trees and some... More

We stayed here for a week in a two bedroom villa and it was great. Clean and pool and beach were awesome. You have to make sure you have your beach hut though. I was down to reserve at 7 am everyday. You can also reserve starting at 3pm for the next day. I don't have anything negative to say.... More

Aruba was all that you could ask for in a vacation. The weather was perfect bc we were told it was outside of the hurricane belt. Location The Marriott Surf was at the end of the beach strip. We were able to walk to the main party strip where Senior Frogs and shopping was, but it was a little longer... More

This was our first trip to Aruba. We had booked the Marriott Resort as I am Plat and the always treat me very well. At the last minute a friend offered the use of their timeshare at the Surf Club and the price was too good to pass up. Knowing it was a timeshare and a last minute reservation I... More

This was our second visit to Marriott's Surf Club. Last time we were here was 3 years ago when the hurricane hit the NY/NJ area and flights were cancelled. Continental, at that time, was horrible to deal with and we struggled to get flights out. We were here an additional 6 days. That in itself wasn't terrible with the exception... More

I had higher expectations of this resort but I believe attention to some details are needed to make this a better customer experience. The resort is beautifully appointed on Palm Beach. Considering the arid surroundings, it felt like an oasis. Good security in the beach/pool area. Beach is nice but felt a bit crowded. I cannot imagine this resort during... More

During the last week of August 2014, my friend and I visited the island of Aruba and once again we stayed at the Marriott Surf Club. This was my 4th trip to Aruba and the 2nd with my travel companion from "the office". (We both work in the field of public safety, police and fire depts.) Last year we vacationed... More
