Yes there are crowds but this resort has so much to offer that it draws people to it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really strive to please. This year the pool area was not as crowded. The palapa situation is insane. I believe most of the people lining up at 5AM to get a palapa are East... More

First the good: as usual, the Marriott vacation club suites are nice, lots of space, good kitchen, washing facilities, etc. we did lose power and hot water one day but no big deal. The big problem is palm beach. It's very crowded and cramped, very little open beach, and the water is slimy at the bottom in places. The good... More

We have stayed on this property for the past 6 years and it is starting to show some age. Had a leak in the bathroom, fixed quickly but a leak. The ice maker went out during our stay, but the worst thing was mold in the shower. Still a great property, but have to fix some of the little things

I usually read the 'terrible' reviews before I choose a place to stay so I know what to watch out for. I must say that I was expecting worse at the Surf club. Maybe we went at an off time but I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful accommodations (even for a 1 bedroom garden view...there was a side view... More

We stay at the Marriott Sufr Club twice a year we jsut spent btwo weeks in the Lighthouse Tower. The unit has been remodeled and is absolutely beautiful. Comfortable and homelike! Medric greeted us on our way in and was there to help whenever we needed him. Minerva checked us in and assured us we would have the same unit... More

This was my 2nd trip to Aruba and we were thrilled with the room & amenities. Having a 1bd with a full kitchen saved us a tremendous amount of money because meals in Aruba are spendy - no matter what or where you eat. (On the first trip we got a great deal on hotel stay at the Marriott hotel... More

This was our 7th visit here and we really consider this our home away from home in Aruba. We love everything about this resort. The lazy river is fun to relax on during part of the day. Never had a problem getting chairs. The huts on the beach are great, again never a problem getting one. Went down in the... More

I want to acknowledge the extraordinary job that the Loss Prevention Supervisor Mr. Ronald Cuervo and the Marriott management did to find my missing engagement and wedding rings on December 18, 2014. This event makes me appreciate Marriot a lot more. I am very grateful. Thank you very much!

By the time you get there, you shouldn't be surprised by the chair tagging issue or kids in the lazy river. Spend some time researching the resort on Trip Advisor. There are plenty of options at this resort to find a little peace and quiet. The resort has a lot to offer. We enjoyed almost everything about the trip to... More

Nice place, grounds well kept. Activities for those that want them. Staff seems eager to please which is a good thing. Rooms are clean and modern. Access to the beach is one of the best things they have. Walking distance to the strip of shops, restaurants and the square.
