We stayed in one bedroom unit that was located in the tower. Upon arrival we were told that only one of the two elevators was working. They asked guests to ride up but walk down. This is a 14 storey building and the stairs are located outside!!!!! My husband used the stairs quite a bit, but with an arthritic knee,... more

For all of those who have written with regard to the slow service at the Divi Phoenix in Aruba, please, please do not rush the culinary experience. Only in the states do diners maintain a "fast food" mentality. The sunsets from the restaurant are spectacular, the staff courteous and well-trained and the quality of food can only be described as... more

We stayed here from Dec. 3-10 in a one-bedroom unit in the 4-story villa building through an RCI timeshare exchange. This property is at the far south end of Palm Beach, just south of the Wyndham Hotel on a broad, clean stretch of beach. There are a few small rocks as you enter the water, so it might be adviseable... more

This is a somewhat outdated hotel. Wasn't very clean and the elevators in the tower had no air conditioning and were very small. Main bathroom had mold growing outside the door and half bath had hair all over the floor when we first checked in. Stayed in a one bedroom suite with a total of 4 adults. Pull out bed... more

My daughter and I just returned from a delightful week at the Divi Phoenix in Aruba. This resort is not plush by any means, but the rooms are modern, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. There are two outstanding features of this resort. One, and very important, is the beach. This resort is situated close to other hotels in the area,... more

We just got back from Aruba after spending 2 weeks there. We stayed at the Phoenix and Casa Del Mar (also called the Aruba Beach Club) The Divi Phoenix Beach Resort was one of the most borest hotels in Aurba, its located in the high zone, first hotel with not another hotel within 3 miles or so. The pool is... more

This resort is sub-par to say the least. My family and I stay there from 3 - 11 July 2005 and we won't be back. I've stayed at many resorts and hotels around the world and this one isn't the worst, but certainly not in the top 40% I've stayed at. It could be a fair resort if they would... more

Just returned from Aruba. The hotel room where we stayed was spacious, but could use major updating in the bathroom. The mattresses they have were one of the most relaxing ever in any hotel. Everything was in walking distance to other hotels via a sidewalk where we walked every day. If you are looking for night life, FORGET IT, because... more

My family has timeshares at the Divi and we LOVE it! The beach is quiet. The only people who seem to be on this part of the beach are Divi members. If you walk further down the beach (to the other hotels) you will see people 5, 6, 7, rows deep lined up on the beach (horrible!) The restaurant is... more
