We spent the school vacation week at the Marriott Ocean Club in Aruba and found it to be relaxing and very accommodating. Despite the "high season" it did not appear overly crowded or congested. There is nothing above average about this hotel. It was sort of clean (though very worn, moldy smelling, and bathroom tiles and ceiling were clearly moldy). This is a great resort for the couple without kids. Most of the kids are next door at the Surf Club. Much easier to secure shade on the beach, less crowded, quieter. We loved it. The place is spotless all the time. Rooms have been recently renovated. A great place. More

They refused to move us; and then kept coming by at night to make sure we were "Safe". Hot tub closes at 10pm; so early for a vacation spot, isn't that right when you want to get in the hot tub? Stay at the Marriott next door, it was much more lively. More
