I booked late for a busy weekend on Aruba, and the Holiday Inn was one of the few resorts left with a reasonable price. And there is a reason for that. Room was ok, location is excellent, beach is nice, service is hit or miss. Worst of all, no hot water in the morning a little better in the afternoon. Had friends staying in the other tower also no hot water in the morning, asked other guests in the elevator if they had hot water, none, just luke warm and miserable.... More

Stayed at the Holiday Inn from 1/20 through 1/28/2012. This is our 17th trip, and 17th stay at the Holiday Inn. When we arrive, we are greeted with "Welcome Home". Big family spent holiday at Holiday Inn Aruba. Great time - perfect weather, perfect hotel. People from many countries stay at this hotel - it's great. Beach volleyball was great. For the money, this hotel is worth it. It is not as nice as other hotels on the strip such as the Hyatt or Radisson but much cheaper than them both. The rooms were clean, newly renovated although they could get better pillows and mattress. We looked at it as a place to sleep, and for us it worked great!... More

I'm not sure how the other reviewers treat people, but maybe that's where the lack of service comes from. if you approach someone with a snotty attitude and condescending tone you probably got what you deserved as far as service. We've stayed here 15 years in a row and have NEVER had a problem with the staff on any level.... More
