We stayed in Casita 8 the week before Easter 2009 and felt at home right away. We grilled our dinner and ate on the well furnished veranda outside our casita. I enjoyed a glass of wine lounging in the hammock while my husband grilled steaks and we could see the sunset sky from our private porch. Our children, 9, 12... more

First of all this is not what I would define as a boutique hotel. It is a small one or two bedroom condo development. . We stayed at The Pillars at New River Sound and Little Arches in Barbados last year. Those are boutique hotels. Hasschen247 is right. There needs to be a major overhaul if they want to attract... more

Great place to avoid the crowds of the high rise Aruba set. Beautiful gardens, friendly cats, big rooms. Semi-private decks with deck furniture and VERY comfortable hammocks. You can cook on your own grill - better than most Aruba restaurants! The rooms could use a little updating - some furniture is on the "shabby chic" side, but I'd put up... more

We stayed in Casita #22 for a week. I must say that when I first walked in I was shocked. It was very basic and quite worn. The walls really need a coat of paint badly....they are so worn and stained. The counter in the kitchen was cracked and worn. The taps were pathetic. The washroom needed some towel bars....the... more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom casita which allowed us to have breakfast on our own patio every morning and then head to the beach early. The owners where friendly and had helpful suggestions. The grounds were gorgeous. I'd give it 5 stars except that it didn't have it's own beachfront - you must share with the mega-chain hotel across... more

We stayed at the Boardwalk from Nov 23 - Nov 30, 2008 in Casita #4. It's a cool place - a much more personal and intimate experience than a chain hotel. The casitas are really your own little house, with full kitchen, living room area, and bedroom, also patio, hammock, table and chairs, BBQ grill. The kitchen is stocked with... more

Brenda and I recently spent a week at the Boardwalk and had a wonderful experience in #21, which is located directly above the office and is the only casita with a view of the ocean (across the road). The one bedroom/one bath unit had a wonderfully stocked kitchen, spacious living area, and a nice porch which provided outstanding sunset views.... more

The Boardwalk was a great hub for our Aruba adventure! You are not on the beach, but you are literally a 5 minute walk to Palm Beach right in front of the Marriott! Eagle beach is a short Taxi ride away...and what we thought was the most beautiful beach on the Island (we visited 6 of them) is just a... more

Just returned from a week at the Boardwalk hotel. I booked here based on reviews from this site, and was not disappointed. Great hotel, 2 minute walk to the beach, but away from it all if needed. Very clean, large rooms, friendly staff, reasonable price, and very friendly cats to keep you company if needed. Wouldn't change a thing, except... more

We loved this place. At first when we got there, I thought it was a little spare. As we stayed, it really really grew on me. It is located at the end of a big strip of high rise hotels, and has a lot of privacy. The casitas are spacious one bedroom apartment-ish. Nicely furnished with good A/C, though not... more
