My boyfriend and I (now fiance, he proposed our first night in Aruba!) stayed in room 103 (pool side) which was a 1 bedroom unit with kitchenette. The fridge was full size which was nice since we cooked breakfast and stored lots of booze and our leftovers in there! The resort was very clean, the staff was great, and all... more

We can't stand the huge timeshares with pools full of screaming kids and drunk adults. Granted, there's nothing wrong with kids and adults having a great time screaming and drinking - I just don't want it next to me while I'm trying to relax in the pool. La Quinta was small, quaint and quiet. The rooms were well-equipped, the staff... more

Two of us arrived together and our third followed later. Never having been in a timeshare property we were not sure what to expect. The reception staff were not about to help us either. They acted as if we were far too much trouble. There was a young man who tried to help but he was obviously new and the... more

We have traded into la quinta since 2000. each time we go we like it better and better. the concierge is excellent. all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Such nice people on the island of Aruba. We have been to several islands and none compare to Aruba. La Quinta is small but real nice. Very accommodating to... more

We pulled up to LaQunita as 2 not-all-that-well travelled adults who had never been to Aruba before. I have to be honest, at first glance I thought "Oh God what have we done". I was at first disappointed to learn that there was no elevator to lug our suitcases up to our 2nd story room, but I was certainly thrilled... more

Some friends of ours have a timeshare in Aruba and and my wife and I wanted a place on the ocean.... We looked at other places in books and online and found LaQuinta. We didn't know what to expect after reading mixed reviews. We left the Boston area Saturday morning (April7,2007). When we arrived in Arubaand got done with the... more

This is a belated review of our stay at the La Quinta a year ago, just before Christmas (week 50). The other reviews said most of what I would write -- mostly good stuff. Acquaintances of ours were due to use the accomodations via a timeshare swap but other commitments came up and so they made it known that they... more

I stayed at La Quinta from September 17th to September 24th. I used a timeshare exchange company to book my room. First off let me give you the negatives. 1- There is a mandatory $20.00 fee to keep the pool bar afloat. If you don't use the $20.00 at the bar you lose it. 2- Checking in the lock on... more

We just returned from a week in Aruba, 10/22/05 -10/29/05. After reading some of the reviews for this resort I was somewhat prepared not to like it. It is a moderate resort, and yes, there are not any amenities but, and this is a big but, it had daily maid service . At time shares, maid service is always once... more
