A very nice property in terms of architecture with all staff being very friendly and service focused. The property is very immaculate with staff constantly cleaning to keep it very appealing. Bar and table service, room service are all very good. Food quality and quantity is average or slightly above and not as highly rated as the service that is... more

Our first trip to Aruba, 3rd trip to RIU hotel- Hotel was clean- staff and just about everyone on the island was very friendly. Room was nice, except the bed was very firm/hard. The RIU has 4 reservation restaurants- We ate at the steak house 2nights. Lobster tail and Filet was very good. Other restaurants were fine- Breakfast was probably... more

Just returned from our honeymoon 8 days, the Riu is absolutely beautiful, the resort is clean, the staff can't do enough for you, the only complaint would be for such a gorgeous hotel the beds are very hard, they could have put softer mattresses! But after a day of sun and drinking, it didn't really matter !! There is entertainment in... more

My husband and I just returned from a week's stay at Aruba Riu Palace. What a wonderful vacation!! We typically travel to Sandals resorts since they are also all inclusive. We have been to Sandals Negril, Sandals Whitehouse, Royal Bahamian, and St. Lucia. So, our standards are very high - and we were not disappointed. First off, Aruba is a... more

The Riu is a lovely hotel. ROOM - We had a junior suite in A block, room 531, it was a very good size, and despite our best efforts to slob it up was kept spotless by the maid. The housekeeping staff visited twice a day. Once in the morning to clean the room, replace towels etc, and again in... more

Positives: BEAUTIFUL pristine beaches, AMAZING infinity pool/pool bar, GREAT pay out at the casino (luck was on our side), NO problem getting dinner reservations, pool chairs, etc. After... more

Most of my review is positive. The buffet foods is very good, with lots of different choices. The steak house was awesome, the surf and turf was the way to go. The Italian restaurant was just ok, the stuffed chicken was pretty good. Making r.s.v.p for the specialty resturants was a breeze. Be sure to get in line about 8:50 am.... more
