We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Riu Palace, Aruba. The beds were very comfortable with a remote control to change the firmness if you need it. The sheets were changed every day and 4 large bath towels plus numerous hand towels replaced in the morning and again at night if needed. Rooms were spacious, refurbished tow years... more

My husband and I have just returned from our 2nd trip to the Riu Palace Aruba and we agee with all of the comments in the previous review from Northumberland. However, if you do book to stay in the Riu then please pay the extra and stay in Block A or B because Block C are the standard rooms and... more

We returned from Aruba yesterday and really enjoyed ourselves. Check in was fast and hassle free and they gave you a nice refreshing cocktail as we waited. We were given our room key right away and were put on the 9th floor in block B. Our room was very big and had a tiled floor throughout. The room was always... more

My husband and I decided to do an all-inclusive package for our honeymoon and chose the RIU. After two nights, we called our travel agent and switched hotels. We were extremely disappointed with the rooms and the food. First, the grounds are beautiful and the hotel looks amazing...however, we were extremely disappointed with the beds....we were on our honeymoon and... more

Travelled from UK on 17/06/09 and stayed two weeks. Check was easy and hassle free. Had a cocktail waiting and there were no problems. Our room was in the old building - C. It was large enough for the two of us by a long way, wardrobes were more than sufficent. Yes the bathroom was small but it was more... more

My husband and I went to Riu Palace Aruba for 8 days and 7 nights. It was amazing. I read many reviews and was skeptic about certain aspects of the resort but overall I was very pleased. The transport to the hotel was fine. The bus was comfortable and the ride was less than 15 minutes. Our check-in was very... more

We have just returned from a two week stay at the Riu Palace Aruba Hotel. We have previously stayed at other Riu hotels worldwide. This hotel is not a true Riu Palace; it has some characteristics of a normal Riu and a standard Palace hotel. If you are expecting the full Palace treatment then you may be disappointed. We were... more

I ve just returned (yesterday) from the Riu Palace Aruba. We both had a wonderful holiday and loved the hotel and most things about it. Having stayed at the Riu Cancun last year we knew roughly what to expect and found this hotel to be much the same. The only real difference was the room service. Maybe this was due... more
