We stayed at the Playa Linda the first week in July and had a nice time. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the pool and beach area were certainly adequate. The resort is a little dated but still in pretty good shape. Because it is a timeshare resort, most of the guests had been coming back... more

Just stayed at the PLAYA LINDA RESORT in Aruba . And loved every minute of it. Yes it is a time share resort and yes the rooms are not all updated.. But let me tell you they are clean , amazing views of the ocean and the pool. You have a full kitchen you have wireless internate access. You buy... more

I just had the opportunity to stay at Playa Linda Beach Resort and the experience was great. I went with my wife and our one year old daughter not knowing what to expect and the results were very positive. This resort is centrally located in one of the best beaches in Aruba. Unlike many of the resorts at Eagle Beach,... more

walking distance to boardwalk, casino's, great resaurants, etc. rooms clean. great beaches. loved it all. we had a hard time finding a good lunch. dinner is great, if you dont mind spending 50-60/person each night. we had a great experience at Madam Jeanette's. rented a jeep and drove all over the island. literally. you can go four wheeling ANYWHERE. drove... more

I have owned a timeshare at Playa Linda for many years and I have always been satisfied with my stay. My reason for writing a review is that I have noticed several comments on the construction that is currently occuring. As an owner, I recieve a monthly newsletter that contains current events at Playa Linda. The construction may be a... more

RCI says this is a 5-star equivalent, but it is at best a 3-star. They are undergoing some updates, furniture replacements, etc. Very much a timeshare location, moreso than a resort. The complex is a bit long in the tooth. Beach is fabulous, as is true for most of Aruba. One relatively small pool, compared with the large multiple pools... more

We just got back from 7 days in Aruba. Aruba was great - clean, safe, great white sand beaches and adorable "chickees" (beach umbrellas made of palm branches) Playa Linda is in the high-rise area and is probably the best location. It is on the bus routet and ten minutes to downtown. (The bus costs $1.20 American.) Smoky Joes is... more

We just returned from our stay at Playa Linda and had a wonderful time! The room was clean and well stocked with towels, extra pillows and blankets. The furnishings were fine and the A/C worked great. Our room was on the 5th floor with a pool and ocean view. The wireless internet connection was spotty, but useable. The pool and... more

We stayed at the Playa Linda during the week of 9/23/07 and it was nice, but they were doing construction on the lobby and entrance way. We stayed in room 621 which is an one bedroom unit with an absolute beautiful view from the balcony and window. The kitchen was a saving grace for us as we went to Ling... more

Playa Linda is an average place to stay. Definately not a five star. The pool is very nice, but small. Zero depth is great for little children. The rooms are average and fairly clean, but are outdated. One night when we came back after dinner, we noticed a foul smell by the kitchen area. We could not figure out what... more
