I was here with 20 friends and family members for my wedding. For the price, you really can't beat it. The breakfast buffett at the tam was pretty bad (watery scrambled eggs, yuck!)so we walked over to the Divi to sit inside~better, but lots of flies when we arrived on both occasions. Buffett for breakfast was the same every day.... more
The Tamarijn is an absolutely beautiful resort. We had an oceanfront room which surpassed any hotel in Aruba. They have the longest stretch of white powder sand beach. Great pool and entertainment. The room was spacious and clean. The only bad thing I could say about the room is you could not get cold water from the faucet and the... more
This was my fifth time staying at this resort. Aruba is a great location for fun in the sun and water-sports. This resort is laid back, has good food and your room is just steps away from the ocean. What more can you ask for? more
We travelled to this hotel last year and had a brill time.We stayed in room 1203 which at the time was the best place "as of the beach condition",which as you know can change quite often. Yes the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but who goes on holiday to stay in the room! When you walk out of... more
All the rooms are on the beach,we were in room 2206 a five minute walk from the restaurants with a buggie that would pick up the people who couldnt walk. The beach here was wider than the beach around the other blocks and we had the choice of two swimming pools right outside the back of the room.We tried all the... more
Myself and daughter were here from the 16th Sept, This is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday on the beach, wonderful views, some nice staff apart from a few especially on the front desk 'Iris' was the most rude and unpleasent lady, needs to move on if unhappy in her job as there were a lot of complaints about... more
Like everyone else, I read reviews about the Tam on TripAdvisor. There were so many good ones that they outweighed the bad ones. I have to say that I loved it there and wish I were back! Yes the rooms were a little outdated and the AC was a little loud. I was only in there to sleep though! I... more
My husband, and me, plus our 3 children, ages 17, 13, and 8 stayed at the Tam for a week. We all had a wonderful time. Being our first trip to Aruba and we had all kind of plans. We wanted to see it all. But once we entered our rooms, and walked out on the balcony, our mouths dropped!... more
We choose this resort because it wasn't a high rise with hundreds of rooms. We liked the location and the laid back feeling of it. The buildings only have two floors each and only six rooms to each level. The best thing about the accommodation is that every room faces the ocean and only about fifty feet away from the... more
