Husband and I stayed at the Tamarijn from October 17 to the 24th. This was our first time in Aruba and the weather was great all week (no rain I am told they only get 2 inches a year). We did much research and read all the reviews available on Trip Advisor and elsewhere and were pleasantly surprised with all... more

My husband and I spent a too short 5 days at the Tamarijn and it was the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. The pictures aren't deceiving - the rooms really are that close to the beach...and the water really is that blue and clear. Everyone was very professional and friendly. We learned on our checkin that our booking... more

The staff at the Tamarijn were very friendly and accommadating. From the time we checked in till we checked out the staff was wonderful. The food was good at the buffets and the daily menus varied with plenty of choice. The Red Parrot was very good and we had two nice evenings their. The bartenders were friendly and service was... more

My wife and I spent our 25th Anniversary at the Tamarijn the last week of September. It was really warm but the water and breeze made it perfect. The food was wonderful and cocktails were mixed perfectly. There was no skimping on the menu and presentations were beautiful. The staff was outstanding and actually remembered you the next time they... more

Overall, a very nice 3-star hotel. I had been a bit worried because of the very different reviews for this place. My family and I were pleasantly surprised. Staff were all extremely nice (except the reception staff which was kind of sad since they are the first ones you interact with but after that I never had to speak with... more

We stayed at this hotel from 23 Sept 09 to 7 Oct 09 and quite simply this was the most relaxing holiday we have been on. The hotel is just steps from the beach and sea and is a series of 2 storey low rise blocks with sea views from a balcony. The Tam is linked to the Divi and... more

Before we booked our much needed vacation I checked a lot of websites like these in order to see if we made the wright decision to go to the hotel with our 7 months old son. To be short: it was! We booked a suite at the Dutch Village, allthough technical a different hotel we still booked it as Tamarijn.... more

The location on the beach, the little huts, the constant breeze, the great food were all amazing. Good price for all inclusive even though it is an older resort you can't beat walking out to the ocean from your room. The big draw back for us and the reason we probably won't go back, as we were trying to decide... more

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Tamarijn. We found the staff to be very friendly, especially, Harold (bar) and his selection of Jimmy Buffett music, Gabriel (bar), Audrey and Imeldz (waitresses at the buffet restaurant) and our room maid who did a great job. We were in the 1200 block which was great, right beside the... more

Just got back from the Tamarijn. Stayed October 9th through the 13th. Requested top floor in 19 block and got exactly that. View was amazing. Beach never crowded with just a few rocks in the water. Wore crocs so no problem. No rocks on beach outside block 19. The Bunker bar was close by and was great for mid afternoon... more
