I am writing this review in response to some very negative reviews I just read. I thought The Mill was clean, a great deal and found the staff helpfull. When I was trying to find a restaurant, the front desk called many times and the housekeeping staff kept a very messy room clean for us- imagine having to be inside... more

My girlfriend and I have stayed at the Mill twice now, and love it. I laugh when I read reviews on here about people complaining about 'rough' towels, or sand near the pool, or going on tangents about what they hated about Aruba and including it in the review for this hotel. Plain and simple, our bartender Enrique said it... more

This hotel was a good value in Aruba. The Resort was clean. It was in a good location, the pool was nice, had Iguana's by the pool, and overall a good place to stay if on a budget. I read reviews from other people and got all kinds of vibes and was concerned. My feeling is if you like service... more

My husband and I just returned from 7 nice days in Aruba. Our first trip to this island. We will return. We knew we were not booking a 5 star resort, and after the very long New England winter we were so happy to find a time-share to trade off for in a warm location. First impression of the room,... more

My hubby and I stayed 2 nights at the Mill this March. It was clean and close to beaches. The big things we cared about. The service was HORRIBLE! Prior to staying here we would have said that didn't matter, but this front desk in unbelievable. We left our camera in our cab from the airport. When I asked the... more

As others have said, The Mill Resort and Suites is not worth the money even for a budget hotel. The walls are paper-thin. You can hear your neighbors talk, sneeze, yawn, open their drawers, hang their coats, etc. The "gym" consists of two antiquated pieces of equipment in a stuffy closet. The complimentary tennis courts belong to an outside company,... more

We stayed for 5 days at The Mill in March 2009. The folks there did a great job, considering they handle a considerable number of new guests every day without making you feel like too much of a number. However, watch out at check-in when they reach out with lightning swiftness to fasten a bright yellow plastic band around your... more

We have been staying at the Mill for 8 years(one week timeshare and one week rental). They have eliminated the restaurant specials, and raised the prices(hardly anyone in their restaurant this year). They have reduced the cleaning service for the rooms-you need to pay extra for a daily cleaning--check in was miserable--one clerk on the weekend and it took half... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mill Resort from 02/25-03/02. We stayed in a Royal Suite (Room 212C) It was a great room facing the pool. The afternoon activites were great and fun. We're not activity people and we really enjoyed it. The pool is very very clean. The staff is hit or miss. I wanted the damn volleyball... more
