Just returned from my wife and my 4th stay at this hotel. This hotel is very special to us, as we were married there 6 years ago. We stayed on the Tradewinds floor, which provides perks such as separate check-in, a private lounge with all 3 meals provided, including alcohol, along to a private area on the beach. No one... We just returned from our first trip to Aruba. We stay at a lot of Marriott resorts and use points for our stay. I would say that this resort is below par for a Marriott resort for many reasons. First, the crowds. Marriott has crammed way too many people onto this property and the pool and beach areas suffer. Since... More

Dear CaliforniaBaker Thank you for you post and we are very sorry to read that the experience fell short of your expectations. Your review covers a lot of good suggestions that we will certainly take into consideration to provide more activities during the family holidays. If you do return to Aruba in the future we do hope that you give... More

I needed a reservation at El Gaucho, and the wi-fi on the beach was non-existent. Went to the Marriot, and, even though I was not staying there, Gustav helped me out. It's great to know that, even when I'm not staying at the Marriot, they take care of me. Thanks, Marriot!

We just returned from our 4th trip to the Aruba Marriott Stellaris hotel in the last 5 years. Aruba is an unbelievable place to visit and so is the Marriott. Although most of the reviews are positive for the hotel, I’m always a bit surprised when I see a negative review of either Aruba or the Marriott so I’ll write... More

2nd time here. Always a sound choice. Stayed during spring break time so a bit crowded. Grounds were in good shape. Employees were friendly and helpful as usual. Stayed in a suite and attached premium ocean view for whole family. Both had great views of ocean and beach. Rooms are nice, clean. Pool filled with a lot of kids which... More

Quite possibly no reason to leave the property. The restaurants on site were wonderful. Beach was perfect. We thought we'd use the adult only pool more but enjoyed the excitement (and swim-up bar) at the main pool. Would recommend to families or couples on a romantic getaway.

Dear nicoleg7 It is great to read that the Resort offered all you needed for a great vacation. You mentioned the different pool experiences which is indeed one of the great things about our Resort. The adult pool for some quiet time and the family pool for some more activity and excitement. Thank you for your great review and we... More

We stayed in an "Oceanview Room" in early March. In general the Aruban's are a very friendly lot. Sometimes you arrive at a holiday destinations and the locals seem resentful. This isn't the case in Aruba, people seem genuinely happy. The hotel itself is a bit dated and a bit of a run-on sentence. The property is contiguous to two... More

INITIAL THOUGHTS: We have traveled a great deal to various locations levels of accommodations throughout the world. We typically do more self-guided and independent trips. We prioritize meeting locals and getting a feel for the culture. We don’t typically do all inclusive hotels but did for a work trip. This Hotel is simply beautiful and well maintained. The staff was... More

My wife and I don't take that many vacations out of the country. We have 3 children: 16 year old boy, 15 year old girl and 11 year old boy. Our 11 year old is significantly special needs and requires a wheelchair, special foods that we need to prepare, and around the clock care. So travelling away is not easy.... More
