We traded for Divi Dutch Resort and got a spacious Studio. Very clean. These units are only 3 stories high so while in the second row from the Carribean Sea, we had a great view from the balcony. Units are older but in good shape. There was always someone raking the grounds, cleaning the windows, or sweeping the sidewalks. Numerous... more

The hotel is alright, nothing too fancy. The drawback is there are no restaurants at the Dutch Village. You need to go to the Tamarijn or Divi Village for food. Those are all inclusive, so you have to 'pre-purchase' your meal there as well. The food at those two places aren't that great, and I wouldn't recommend all-inclusive there. However,... more

We recently stayed at this resort/hotel with two kids. Let me list the pros and cons. Pros: 1. The location of the hotel is perfect with respect to the beach and shops around. 2. THe grocery store and decent eateries are nearby. 3.The beach is well maintained(not shallow, good waves) and rocky in some parts but very clean and big... more

We stayed at the Divi Dutch Village the first 4 nights we were in Aruba. We were on the ground floor with a walk-out to the swimming pool. One day we had to get out of the pool because it was dirty. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach. The beach is gorgeous. It was not crowded.... more

Location was great, rooms were nice as was pool. We left on 4/22 very happy. However when I got home to unpack I was missing a Coach billfold that I had purchased in Aruba and a bracelet. Evidently one of the many maids helped herself. It is sad as we had tipped them very very generously. I had used the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Divi Dutch for our wedding anniversary. I thought this hotel was great and it had everything that we needed. The beach was beautiful and very quiet, as we spent most of our time here. I thought the hotel staff was very courteous and helped us any chance they could and the shuttle I... more

My family and I stayed at this resort in June 2008. We had a one bedroom unit. The room was very clean and roomy for the four of us. We were located right between both pools and maybe 50 feet from the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the groundsman gave my husband a ride to... more

We did the all inclusive package which seems to mean you get a better deal whilst staying at the Dutch Village, we had no issue with the showers they worked ok and we did not run out of hot water. The accommodation was the very good if a little dated, the kitchen was well equipped and the rooms where a... more

I stayed at the Divi Dutch Village from October 23 to October 31. It was a mixed bag. The hotel is comprised of the Tamarijn, Divi Village, Dutch Village, and the golf and resort. If you stay at one, you stay at them all. I signed up for the Divi Dutch Village-worst one. 1) When I signed up for excursions... more

Our stay at the DIvi was awsome. I wouldn't say it was exquisite, but we didn't expect that since it's not a 5 star hotel. We stayed at the Divi for our honeymoon, and it was a great choice for the price. The rooms might be a little outdated but the beach made up for it. I mean, we were... more
