Tamarijn Aruba May 17 - May 24 This was our first stay in Aruba, but we have traveled to many parts of Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Montego Bay, Jamaica. I had high expectations from reading Trip Adviser and good reports from friends and family on the Tam. I was not disappointed because of the oceanfront room, but other areas... More

My wife and I stayed at the Tamarijn for about 4 nights to celebrate our one year anniversary. Our stay did not start out well, we arrived at 2 PM and our room wasn't ready until 4:30 PM. After a long day of traveling that started 12 hours earlier. The beach was amazing. You just walk out on your balcony... More

We stayed for 5 nights in Mid-May. I can safely say that while we will probably return to Aruba, we will never return the Tamarijn. The rooms are basically clean but horribly outdated. We were there for a romantic vacation and got stuck with 2 double beds. The hotel staff could not get us a King bed even though it... More

I am going to precursor this review with the fact that I am a travel agent with my own business, specializing in Caribbean all-inclusive vacations. My fiance and I love visiting these types of resorts especially so I can personally recommend them to my clients. We are both very easy to please and I understand that vacations aren't always what... Just came back from Aruba. We are so easy to please, really. Always reading reviews before going anywhere. We were impressed on the reviews about Tamarijn and choose this hotel for our family of 4 to stay. Almost everything on the reviews is thuth: beach, hotel, very clean, nice rooms, view, sunset...BUT... worst service we EVER had. Front desk stuff:... More

Great location, near downtown and steps away from the beach. Chose Tamarijn over sister resort Divi because of lower price and ability to use both facilities. Rooms were small but very clean. Food was good, but not great. Never had a problem finding something enjoyable to eat - especially the pizza place by the pool. Enjoyed our stay, but we... More

We have the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Tamarijn resort on 4/15-4/20 during the spring break. The resort was very clean, quite; open with a very relaxing atmosphere. All units have a breathtaking ocean view in a 2 story building. The spectacular white sand beach and the crystal blue water made our day especially relaxing in a less crowded... More

Admittedly, the price was unbeatable - at about the same as a middle-of-the-road hotel's lowest rate, we had a beachfront room with terrace AND all-inclusive to boot! Oh, and it looks pretty good! It may have not been the best time to be in Aruba, as the weather was ok but the water was not too clear - there had... More

My husband and I stayed at the Tam April 27th - May 2nd 2009. Arrived in Aruba airport and within an hour we were checked in at the hotel and on the beach. The Tamarijn is the first stop that the bus makes which was a pleasant suprise. I do not agree with the negative reviews, while it is true... More

The Beach is spectacular. Very private, clean, sand is white, water is so blue you can see your feet. Rooms are very outdated. Motel style, no a/c in bathrooms. Great views however as all rooms are on the beach and oceanfront. Access to beach via room is great, but no way to lock doors behind you. The all inclusive option... More
