My husband and I booked two weeks at the Tam after studying it on the Thomson website. Most reviews looked good on trip advisor but there were a few negative ones. We thought that as the majority were good and this was a Thomson Platinum hotel we would be fine. WHAT A MISTAKE TO MAKE! This resort is disgusting. We... More

We were a group of 7 adults and 2 children under 13 yrs of age. This was a family vacation. My parents and my 2 aunts already had reservations at the Divi Divi however at the time we made our reservations, the Divi was sold out. We have been guests at the sister resort, The Divi Divi several times, this... More

We stayed at the Tamarijn the week of Aug 11, 2014. Aruba: Aruba is a fairly modern/progressive country. You will see many brand name food and other companies on the island. Poverty seems minimal. Lot's of cars. They have an excellent bus and cab system. We felt very safe when we traveled outside the resort. Go see the island! Resort:... More

The hotel is a two storey building which is our preference, it's a little dated even though our room had benefitted from refurbishment, however this is compensated by the fact that every room is beach facing. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food and beverage was of a good standard. There are four a la carte restaurants... More

Went in July for my 60th Birthday and had a wonderful time. Rooms have plenty of storage and are kept very clean. The only things in my opinion letting this hotel down are the bookable restaurants apart from the Palm Grill (where you cook your own food) the food and service in all were pretty poor with luke warm food... We've stayed at the Divi and the Tamarijn and both properties are just excellent! Rooms are comfortable - the location is perfect and the staff is friendly overall. The restaurants are of great quality (far above average) and the entertainment is fun. If we visit Aruba again, this will be where we stay - guaranteed. Only thing they need to... More

Stayed in the Dutch Village not on the beach front but bigger rooms slightly old fashioned but preferred this because of the size. Maids and restaurant staff very good and helpful, reception staff not so good. Food was average in the buffet restaurants, speciality restaurants were better. Nice beach plenty of beds and umbrellas so no need to rush out... More

One of the first all inclusive in Aruba. This mean that the facilities are not so big and full of luxury details as others all inclusive in the Caribbean. But let me talk first about the great things: the beaches are great, white sands, not so deeps and quiet water, better beaches than Cancun and Punta Cana. The food was... More

My family of four stayed at the Tamarijn for a week in August. I would agree with all the reviews posted on here. The biggest attraction, and the reason I would go back is the rooms right on the beach...you can't beat it! The rooms are small, esp for two adults and two children, but it was clean and well... We didn't stay at the Tam ( we were at the Divi) so I can't comment on the rooms etc. We walked over in the day once to have a good look and the outside of the building looked shabby , the beach is really eroded and not as nice as the beach outside the Divi. We went to the... More
