I just returned from Aruba. The waters and beach were beautiful, however La Cabana was very disappointing. They have multiple problems both within and beyond their control. The resort is very outdated in comparison to other Interval locations I have stayed at. Internval should remove from their listing. Front desk staff were not "service oriented". I was charged an unexpected $250 deposit. While waiting for the room to be ready, we (party of 3) went to lunch at their poolside grill. Once our food was delivered we were covered in flies, so much so we couldn't eat. While we were walking around there was a horrible "dead fish" or something worse smell. Once the room was ready, we were escorted by a very friendly and knowledgable bellman (Angel - the best part of La Cabana) to our room via what seemed to be a freight elevator - down a tile walkway (multiples tiles pulled up with cones around them) to our room.
