Loved the Resort.... The Gucci store was downstairs from our room. We had a lovely room, great staff, walking distance to everything. There was a boat that took you from the lobby of the hotel to the beach....It was fabulous and the weather was HOT! But by 4pm you were guaranteed an afternoon shower and beautiful evening. We can not say enough about our trip to the Renaissance Ocean Suites. Upon arriving at Ocean Suties we were put in a 1 bedroom suite with an ocean/pool view. The rooms were very spacious. My husband and I stayed here for four nights and had a fabulous stay. The hotel is in a great location, downtown, and we just loved the private island. We spent 1 week at the Renaissance Aruba Ocean Suits. The service we encountered by everyone there was outstanding. I could tell the resort had some age on it, was keep clean. The rooms were in need of updating but other than that no complaints. We liked the location, many thing were wothin walking distance. more

We spent a week at the Renaissance Ocean Suites (timeshare side/family oriented) from Sept 18-24. The rooms are pretty small and outdated, and the internet is $70/week(unless you go to the Dutch restaurant nearby for free wifi).
