just back from two weeks at the Admirals Inn and missing them all dreadfully. This is a perfect place to stay if you are not interested in the pool ,all inclusive ect holiday. There is so much to see and do. The staff are very kind and if at times a little tardy you do have to remember that this... more

What a Gem the Admirals Inn is. We spent 2 weeks over Christmas 2008 & New Year in Antigua, one week at the Admirals Inn & one on SY Distant Shores. Amarillis made sure that our stay was one to remember, both she and all the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The restaurant served some of the best food... more

We recently spent nights at the Admirals Inn and we were allocated room 1 which is above the restaurant area. It was so noisy and with no windows to close just shutters we had difficulty sleeping. The first night was the worst because it was a Saturday and there was the sound of live music from one of the restaurants.... more

Three of us stayed at the Admirals Inn for three days after completing Antigua Sailing Week. Two were lucky enough to stay in Room 1 - a large room with a great bed overlooking the harbour. We also had a single room 'C' in the annex - a good room but the setting not so outstanding. If you are looking... more

Stayed here a couple of years ago for four nights - and loved it. Still fondly look at our fantastic photos from the room - sitting on the bed looking out over the yachts. Its a real find. If you want room service and modern luxuries its not for you - but if its character and a great location -... more

My new husband and I stayed at the Admiral's Inn for the second week in January having spent the first week in Antigua at Cocobay on the west coast. We booked our holiday direct with the hotel and dealt with the very lovely Amaryllis. In fact it felt like meeting an old friend when we finally met as we had... more

A world away from the usual all-inclusive Caribbean resort hotels, the Admiral's is a true delight. A wonderful old building, perfectly placed overlooking the water inside the historic Nelson's Dockyard, very well run by charming, friendly folk and very reasonably priced. The one less-than-fantastic bit was the food - breakfasts were OK, while the dinner we had there was very... more

The inscription on their matchboxes sums it up: "A small attractive inn at historic English Harbor." Our stay at the Admiral's Inn last March was our third time there and it just keeps getting better. The complex of 18th century buildings is located on the edge of Nelson's Dockyard, a former British Navy port and an easy cab ride from... more

We stayed at the inn this April 2006 and have just got back home. If you like big international hotels with all the amenities in your room then this is not the place for you but if like us you prefer charming small hotels with masses of character then this is the one for you. The inn only has 6... more

For non package travellers who do not require being right on the beach, this is an excellent no frills hotel. Make sure you request a room in the main house. We stayed in 6, but No. 1 is the best. The rooms are colonial in style and the superior rooms have air con. The bathrooms although small are spotless and... more
