We stay The Copper and Lumber hotel during Antigua Sailing Week, as part of the crew of one of the participating boats and is the prefect place to stay, meters from the boat and in the middle of the night action. Rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast time to deliver can be improved, more when you have a race... More

The hotel is in a great location first of all, I highly recommend staying in Nelson's Dockyard. It is also a reasonably priced hotel, even in the high season. Overall, it had the feel of a bed and breakfast, but without the B&B sense of community or friendly customer service. We felt that we were bothering the front desk staff... More

I visited this hotel for lunch as a cruise ship excursion. The building was really lovely, cool and shady and very atmospheric. We had a buffet style lobster lunch. The lobster was served from a barbeque with fresh salads and West Indian vegetables and rice as accompaniements. The food was delicious and the staff who served us our drinks were lovely... More

My wife and I stayed at Copper and Lumber for a week in mid March and were every happy with our stay. We booked one of the suites which really felt more like a 1 br condo than a hotel room. Very spacious and clean, wi-fi throughout, very friendly and helpful staff. We forgot to bring any beach towels with... More

The Copper & Lumber Store Hotel was wonderful. We ended up at this hotel when our previous accommodations lacked consistent running water. It was a wonderful choice. First, there's Claudius at the front desk. This man bent over backwards to get us into a comfortable room quickly. He also helped us figure out what to do around the town. And,... More

We stayed at the Copper and Lumber for 10 days in late December 2013. To say that our stay at this hotel was “perfect” doesn’t seem to even do it justice. It was better than perfect, if I could give this hotel 6 stars, I would in a heartbeat! First of all, we decided on The Copper and Lumber Store... More

What a joy to visit and stay in the historic Nelsons dockyard. You are staying in the heart of a national park that captures the feeling of when Nelson stayed there. Perfectly preserved. Our room was on two levels, very spacious and with great character. We stayed in the off season but I am sure it is a completely different... More

I stay in the Copper and Lumber every year and it's a fantastic place to be. The staff are great, Gillian on the front desk is extremely helpful and asked if the could improve my stay and room in any way. It's clean, good air con, wifi and TV- Plus you can't beat the location.

This is one of my favourite buildings anywhere. The brickwork, the courtyard, the shutters, the lobby - like stepping back in time in style. Friday nights, they have a superb seafood experience. Outdoor barbecue, with some tents set up for inclement (never) weather. Linen table cloths, music, attentive staff, Truly a lot of fun in a very nautical setting. Sunset... More

This hotel lacks managment, apart from the setting and location it had very little else to offer its guests. If you are thinking about visiting you MUST check what services will be available for the duration of your stay.
