We stayed for three days, it is located on the upper floor of a two story building five overlooking Falmouth Harbour across the street. It was filled with sailors like ourselves who were crewing on boats for the Classic or race week. Dennis and Jules were great hosts and provided cheap accommodation, food and drink for those looking for a... More

I booked 15 nights at the Waterfront Hostel with its charming owners Dennis and Julia… I needed a base from which to visit friends on the island and attend a seven day day sailing course. The hostel is in a fantastic location within Falmouth, everywhere being within a short walk. Julia cooked up a wicked breakfast every morning and my... More

In many parts of the world to sit in bar / breakfast room like this on first floor with a view over Falmouth harbour and all the yachts etc would cost a fortune. Here with clean rooms and great hosts, as previous review, you will have a great stay. The rooms are simple with no air con, have shower within... More

One of the few hostels in the Lesser Antilles, this is a good one. Big beds, not crowded, lovely public area. great views, near to amenities, and very warm and inviting owners. It's great value at $25 a night for the dorm bed. Private rooms are also available.

I actually live in Antigua but on the other side of the island. A couple of times a year we spend the weekend at the Waterfront because it is the perfect place to make a home away from home. The rooms are comfortable and the owners are very nice. They really make you feel at home and help you get... More

Stayed for 3 days in January 2013. Dennis and Jules are the perfect hosts and the location is superb. This is not luxury but if you are backpacking. joining or leaving a yacht or just looking for a budget room this is what you need. Clean single/double rooms with a sink and shower, or a bunk room for those on... More

Myself and a sailing colleague stayed at Waterfront for a few days following a sailing trip. It is located in an ideal location to enjoy all the local restaurants/bars etc in Falmouth Harbour and English Harbour, the local beach (Pigeon Beach) is approx 10/15 mins walk away, so is obviously a good place for sailors to stay before or after... I spent 2 weeks together with a friend in the Waterfront Hostel. I cannot say anything negative about that place. Well, if you are looking for A/C-rooms, then you are in the wrong place. But, forget A/C and choose warm and openhearted atmosphere, very friendly staff and a very comfortable place in Antigua! Order a glass of carribean rum and... More

Stater here in off season and had the while place to myself. The couple running it all are so nice! Everything was clean and in order, great value! Hopefully I'll be there in high season someday. The bar at the terrace is great.

I stayed here this month for 10 nights and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid hotel complexes. Rooms are clean and have a shower and (most importantly) fans and mozzie nets, as well as free Wifi throughout the hostel (though signal's strongest in the bar ;) ) Dennis and Jules who run it are so nice...
