The Trade Winds hotel overlooking Dickinson Bay in Antigua was well worth the stay.A great alternative for all the very expensive resorts.Every room has an awesome view, the pool(a tad small) and restaurant and bar are overlooking the bay.The food was quite good and the service professional.I stay there anytime.

I had to give this hotel 5 stars Breakfast is not a quick even by any means, so you need to cater for approx 1 hr on mornings The view is spectacular from the restaurant. Be prepared for a multitude of small colorful local birds to join you fir breakfast. I looked forward to this on mornings

Most of the staff have been happily working here for years. Genuinely very friendly. The panoramic view from the restaurant is stunning. The beach at Dickinson Bay is a short walk away with excellent swimming, particularly at the flat calm end beneath the cliffs to the right. The wifi (free) is generally strong enough to stay properly in touch with... More

I travel for business and have stayed at Trade Winds on a number of occasions. It is consistently good, comfortable, clean, with attentive staff. it's a little out of the way, but still near St. Johns. The restaurant and bar are really friendly, food is good, and the location is just beautiful. Not on the beach, but a gorgeous hilltop... More

It was a great trip overall, the service was fantastic and so was the food. The live band was quite entertaining. The only problem I had would be the fact that light in the 2 bed suite was a little dull. And I think the front desk is a little to far from the lower rooms.😜💗💋😃

We have been regulars at the hotel for many years now and lamented the recent retirement of long-term friend and manager Cheryl Carter, although for other regulars we can report that Marydith Gordon has taken over the helm and is continuing to run the hotel to exacting standards. A top-class relaxing experience, her staff continue to excel.

We stayed here for one night on a stopover before flying to Beef Island the following morning. It was just what we were looking for - we were with 6 friends and just wanted the holiday to start! It is a proper price point too. On a beautiful island filled with brilliant resorts, Tradewinds makes an impression based on human compassion. The entire staff, and I mean the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. From reception to groundskeepers to reastaurant and bar staff, everyone was super-friendly and all services were more than satisfactory. Can't say enough good... More

Looking for a nice place to overnight on our way to another island, this property was recommended by a few people on the TripAdvisor forum as one of the few places on Antigua that would accommodate a single night stay.  Located atop a quiet hill on Northwest end of the island, this clean, well maintained  property sprawls down the side...
