My copilot and I were looking for a reasonable hotel with all the amenities in a good location in Antigua. I looked on Hotels.com and found two properties which fit into our budget. Ichoose this one because it was at the top of the hill with nices views. It is Avery well maintained hotel with a service staff that goes... More

This is a sweet hotel with lovely staff but the service is excruciatingly slow especially at breakfast. Most people staying here are business people so they want to be up and out fairly sharply. You need to allow at least an hour to be get through breakfast without extra coffee. It's also meant to be one of the best restaurants... More

This small hotel with a view of one of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua (the same as Sandals) is a little gem; quiet, immaculately clean, attentive and charming staff, an all-day restaurant with a modern (and rather American) menu set on a large, shaded decked area adjacent to the pool, where tiny, colourful birds will hop and try and... Located high on a hill in a very quiet neighbourhood near Dickenson Bay, this small hotel will appeal to visitors looking for tranquility. Do not book this hotel if you want to be near the beach, or are looking for a wide range of activities and nightlife, or don't plan to rent a car. I'd say more than half the... More

Thank you Cheryl and the wonderful staff at the Tradewinds. Spent 10 days in August for carnival and a family wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel was full but we never felt like we didn't have any privacy. The food was excellent and sitting on the deck with the beautiful views and tropical breezes made every meal perfect.Your staff... My overall experience of this hotel was ok. The food was great and the breakfast was lovely. the view you get from the restaurant is second to none. I felt the hotel was a bit run down and out the way. The tiny pool was a bit of a let down and also a lot of insects crawling around

Great little hotel, very good food and staff were excellent. Stayed on business and weathered Hurricane Gonzalo there last week. Made quite a mess (the storm, not me) but the management and staff were brilliant. Didn't interrupt the standard of service - I sat through the worst of it having my French Toast for breakfast! I've stayed in lots of... More

My wife and I stayed here 1 night July 19th. We are in our early 30's and have travelled alot. The good: views from pool area, air conditioning is cold, bed is comfortable & front desk is helpful. The not so good: many ants in bathroom sink area, steep long walk to beach and many things cosmetically need updating. We... More

I did a review on this hotel some time ago. I feel it necessary to do another as it has gone somewhat downhill since my last one. The location of this hotel is isolated. However they do provide a limited free shuttle to the beach, although I am not a beach fan. The "main town" is about 15 mins in... More
