We stayed here for a short break en route from Montserrat back to the UK. As it was out of season we were able to negotiate a very reasonable rate for accommodation (although the quoted rate did not include service/taxes which add another 22% to the total - watch out for this small print if you come from a country... My daughter, 2 1/2 yr. old grandson, and I stayed at the Catamaran for a week in March. From my first telephone call to Fiona, the owner of the Catamaran, months before our arrival to the day we left I felt extremely well cared for. She and her staff met our every need. This is not a large resort hotel!... More

Let me start by saying that I travel for a living, so I stay in hotels every week. This is not a five star resort or hotel, however it is very quaint, quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect, right on its own little beach, over looking the marina. English Harbor is right down the road which has restaurants and... More

Sitting on the balcony watching the morning come in over the harbor, I felt very lucky to be here. The view and location are two of the best things about the Catamaran. The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of resorts, yet only a five-minute bus ride to... More

This review is a tough one for me to write, as my husband and I really like Feona and the staff of the hotel. Given how many fellow contributors have saved me from accommodations that did not fit my travel style in the past, I feel it necessary to post this review. The takeaways: if you like cabin camping with... More

This hotel is very tired and not secure or safe. The windows had no latches, fly screens broken, broken plugs and sockets and more besides. The bed was uncomfortable, service nonexistent and food dreadful. The only saving grace was the location which meant one could get out to eat in nice places and have some drinks. Very disappointed but it... More

Stayed at the catamaran hotel over Christmas for one week. The hotel is in a great location, small beach but perfect for all the guests staying there. A wonderful view of Falmouth Harbour. They do have a restaurant at the hotel with a small breakfast menu, or if you want the kitchenettes in the rooms has a coffee maker, toaster... More

We are still staying here but sadly leaving tomorrow....this is a wonderful and quiet place to stay if you want to totally relax and look out to the sea from your verandah. We had everything we need and if not the friendly staff and owner Feona were here to help. They arranged car hire for us and recommended fantastic restaurants... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in July and we had a wonderful time thanks to the excellent staff and Fiona (the owner) being so accommodating and helpful. The first night we arrived rather late and Fiona was kind enough to help us find a place for dinner that was still open. She gave us great trips... More

If you feel the need to be pampered, waited on day and night, and need constant entertainment, this is NOT the place for you. However, if you enjoy a tranquil setting, enjoy making your own plans, and want to relax on a beautiful little beach secluded from almost everybody, this is DEFINITELY your spot! Our stay was in February of... More
