We stayed in a beachfront room and a friend of ours stayed in the superior room. I would recommend the superior room or better since the beachfront room was not as nice - the bathroom was much smaller, the furniture was "weathered" and there was little privacy since the door to the room opened directly onto the main level and... more

A wonderful experience where you arrive as guests and leave as friends. We were lucky enough to be able to spend three weeks at the Catamaran in October and have nothing but praise for the owner and staff of this little gem of a hotel. From when we arrived, to be welcomed by a smiling Ron, until we left it... more

The Catamaran is a nice 'old Caribbean' style hotel, very relaxed with a friendly staff. The owner takes charge of the place personally so while the facility shows some signs of age (in furniture and fixtures), the atmosphere and attentiveness of staff is excellent. I stayed for 4 nights in a superior view room on the second floor of one... more

Whenever we visit Antigua we always visit Catamaran. It's hard to mess with success but proprietor Feona Bailey and her wonderful staff have perfected this art. Your dollar goes a long way when staying here. The rooms are quite reasonably priced for all the ammenities that come with it. There is a new restaraunt on site, Captains Quarters that is... more

We have just come back from our honeymoon at this hotel... all we can say was ... perfect... well apart from the bed in Bruno's cabin. bit too hard for us! The staff treated us as one of the famil y so thanks Fiona, Ron Nigel and Robert for making our stay so memorable. one thing we would advise is... more

A bit late to review, but better late... We stayed at the Catamaran Hotel for one night at the end of a holiday to the BVI before our flight home. It proved ideal for a short stopover but I'm not sure I would want to spend an entire holiday here. Staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to... more

booked a room, confirmed, then 2 days before arrival they said the customer in the room wanted to extend. We would be upgraded for 2 days, then moved to the room we booked for the remaining 8 days. But we would have to pay an extra 25 per day. Like it or leave it. We booked with another hotel and... more

I had a few unplesant surprises at the catamaran hotel. firstly the beach was terrible for bathing. There were a lot of that squishy stuff at the bottom of the water, i guess due to the marina. This turned us off from bathing there. Secondly there was a great mix up as to the cost of my stay.Even though I... more

I stayed at the Catamaran Hotel and I absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I especially loved my room due to its up to 6 persons occupancy. Even though there are kids with you, the hotel isn't too quiet for them. Its just perfect. Theres a great supermarket and a lunch/snack bar... more
