My husband and I used RCI for a timeshare week and were really looking forward to our week in Antigua. Our trip was great as we LOVED the island of Antigua and all of the glorious beaches and the rainforest, but our stay at Antigua Village was less than okay. First, realize that Dickensen's Bay is a nice place but... more

We stayed at Antigua Village for only one night before checking into Sandals the next day. We had a late flight and didn't want to pay Sandals prices for a full day when we wouldn't arrive until after 9:00 PM. I believe this property is privately owned condominiums that are rented out. That said, it looked as if there were... more

I stayed here while on a business trip to Antigua. We found this last minute after spending one night at a place under renovation. The condos are simple but nicely appointed. The resort has two good restuarants nearby, one with some night life. Not much of a beach on the resort, but you can accesss the beach of the Sandals... more

We stayed at Antigua Village from 11/27/08 - 12/5/08. We loved our ocean front unit with a big patio and cushy furniture. If we wanted more sun, we could step out to the loungers right in front of our unit. There are also thatched umbrellas there for shade. There's swimming out front but no beach. You can walk to either... more

I have stayed at Antigua Village four times in 2008. I have also stayed at 3 other properties and this is my first choice for my purpose. It would be excellent for those who prefer to have a bit more space than a hotel room and want to feed themselves rather than eat out three times a day. Staff have... more

My husband and I went here for a week this month. The people at the Antigua Village Beach Resort were horribly rude. Neither one of us had ever been to a place where we were treated like this. There were ants all over the kitchen and bathroom. YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD OR CRUMBS OUT!!!! The ants will take... more

This was our first trip to Antigua, made possible by an exchange through RCI. Antigua Village sits on beautiful Dickinson Bay (found quickly because another TA member -or maybe it was on the forum-wrote to warn us that Dickinson Bay Rd. DOES NOT go to Dickinson Bay-Thank You!). The grounds are lush, the beach is fantastic! We visited in July-the... more

7/7/08-We just returned from Antigua Village. The service from the condo was good. The rooms are not modern. They are adaquate. AC is extra. King beds are actually 2 twins shoved together. Not great for love making. Our room was away from the office and there was the smell of horses and horse droppings. It turns out they tie them... more

Antigua Village is a nice place. We stayed in a Studio which was surprisingly very nice. Studios arent my thing! Maid service was good although some days we were only left with one clean face towel instead on two. (whats up with that?) The property itself was beach FRONT but there was really no Beach to lay or play. We... more

I think a vacation is all about perspective...and if you are going just to relax, catch up on those novels you've piled up, enjoy gorgeous views...then this place is great! Antigua isn't an island where 5 stars would mean too much. Part of the charm in Antigua is the simplicity to it, its seclusion, and its realness...so I think the... more
