Having just got back I thought I would write my review. My husband and I travel each year south. We have stayed at 5 stars, and 3 as well. We are not by any means high maintenance, but I would rate this a stretched 3 star. When we arrived we were put in a room towards the back of another... More

How bad can a hotel be and this was a British Airways Holiday. From the moment of arrival, tacky, dirty, electric wires hanging out everywhere, rubbish everywhere, dangerous hazards on ground, nails sticking out of sunshades, what was left of the sunshades, made out of straw and it had all but a little disappeared so didnt shelter you at all. No... More

Booked this hotel last night for a quick weekend getaway this past weekend. Check-in was easy and room location was close enough to everything. The room though needs some makeover. The bathroom needs definitely needs to be made remodeled. The food was decent but just make sure you wake up early for breakfast because it goes quick. For drinks make... More

We recently stayed 5 long nights at this resort. It is a very tired, run-down resort that needs to completely close down and get a makeover. We upgraded when we arrived to an "oceanfront suite". It was a blast from the 70's for sure. The bathroom and sink area....ugh. On a good note the linens and bedding were new and... More

After reading a few reviews, my wife and i were gearing ourselves for somewhere quite shabby. But overall it wasn't like that. The design of the complex and the room decor might be a little dated but overall it was fantastic. We had a poolside room with a massive bed and fridge. The food was great and there was lots... Two weeks of relaxation, escaping the UK winter. Check-in was a little disorganised as we didn't get our 'gold' band at the time for being previous visitors, both here and at other Rex resorts. But overall the staff make the place. Our Garden room ( we could just see the sea) and balcony could have done with a little more... More

First, before we start: It's Antig-AH, not Antig-WAH. I did a poll. I was told I play a Gee-tar, not a Gwee-tar. just sayin'... Just back from a week at the Rex Halcyon and it's a rare moment when you can say that you got exactly what you were told/promised/warned you were going to get. This is a low-cost, dated... More

Just returned from our annual visit to the Halcyon Cove ..... 2 weeks of bliss to see us through the winter. We were not disappointed. We felt so welcome there - the staff are outstanding, totally helpful and cannot do enough. The bar staff, Dolstan, Austin, Orlando look after everyone very well. Roxanne and Margretta and all the staff in... More

The location is spectacular and very beautiful, the chamber is clean and the ladies nice. We have one big problem like everyone a lot of Mosquitos all over and nothing enough done to help problem. Staff very knowledgeable and nice all girls in restaurants nice. Hotel mostly for seniors and no good activities to do. Advertising animation is never around.... More
