Just came back from this hotel after having our Wedding take place there on the 14th May2012, which was absolutely perfect. The grounds are outstanding, the beaches- great, the staff, especially Ionie, David, Claudette and Donella were fantastic, remembering our party of 12 all by name. We had two children , one of 5 and the other of 3 as... More

The only thing that lets this hotel down a bit is the rooms. Although a decent size, they are in need of an overhaul. Due to ill fitting doors and window blinds, insects can be a problem unless you spray regularly. The rooms do have a safe and fridge, but no TV. There can be quite a bit of noise... More

We were lucky enough to spend a few relaxing days at Hawksbill the first part of May. The grounds were lovely, the beaches were unbelievably beautiful and uncrowded, and the staff was attentive and polite. We had a garden bungalow room, which was clean but somewhat outdated and worn, similar to the rest of the resort. Rather than this being... More

I stayed here with my husband and another couple in early May 2012. We all agreed that the grounds were gorgeous, everything was clean, overall staff was friendly, but in general the resort seemed a little tired and worn. We will be back because we had a fantastic time on the beautiful beaches. We were only approached by one vendor... More

We spent an idyllic week here. It was quiet and peaceful and exactly what we had expected from the website. The room was slightly dated and tired, but that kind of added to the charm. It was perfectly clean, and ideally situated right on the beach. The staff were all very helpful and the food was good, with plenty of... More

Had an amazing week's stay at the Hawksbill. The food is good and the grounds are AMAZINGLY beautiful. On welcome, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and we received a champagne welcome drink. We stayed in the little cottages on the beach. It felt both rustic but with all the amenities of a hotel. Rooms were quite spacious, bed... More

Our 4th trip to Hawksbill was as enjoyable as the first, hence the subsequent visits! The resort is small on beautiful grounds with 4 beaches therefore no crowding. The staff are friendly and helpful and eager to please. The rooms are comfortable and all close to the beach. The resort appeals to an older crowd as there is minimal evening... More

My husband and I were staying at the Halcyon Cove, the sister hotel, for our two weeks in Antigua, but we did have the opportunity of spending two days here at the Hawksbill and it was simply paradise. This is a non-smoking hotel. There are no shops outside the resort so it is all about chilling out and relaxing. The... More

Left Hawksbill on 27 th April after a six night stay. Caribbean side of Antigua is actually nicer than Atlantic coast for two reasons- 1) beaches are calmer and easy for swimming and snorkelling ( or at least in April) 2) beaches seem to be more accessible - esp Hawksbill which has four beaches within easy reach . The staff... More

I would be the first to tell you never go back to where you have been before....there are too many beautiful places & great experiences to be had in this world of ours. Well I ignored my own advise & went back to this Hotel again after visiting in 2011. It was like a lovely comfy slipper ! We instantly... More
