Public areas were all okay, the bedrooms however and the service of front desk staff was just shocking. There were only 6 of us there at any one time in August - peak summer months. My credit card was also cloned here and I can only assume this was from the carbon copy they took at check-in. Staff lovely -... more

Just to say that the Dian Bay Spa is now closed until further notice. I stayed here in August and had a lovely time athough there were only between 6 to 8 people in the hotel at any one time. We had the beaches to ourselves, our own bar staff, and Shamantha the waitress was great. But the biggest problem... more

I will NOT be back to this resort! The staff was the best part of the entire resort, they were really nice. But the accommodations that the hotel listed were not offered. It was supposed to be an all-inclusive resort, but they had no buffets, the portions were very small. Breakfast and lunch was the same each day, and dinner... more

My daughter and I just returned from a 1 week stay at this resort. The staff was courteous but it often took a few requests to get something done. It seems airline crews have booked many upstairs rooms for the next two months so if you have a first floor room, you can expect to be awakened both late at... more

My husband and I have just returned from another week at Dian Bay(our 3rd visit) and once again, could not have had a better holiday. The rooms were bright, spacious and clean, beautifully furnished in pastel colours, with a lovley bathroom and quiet airconditioning. The balcony (ours had a wonderful view over the sea) is large with a rail for... more

We stayed at this hotel 8 years ago (then called Mango Bay) and returned seeking the relaxed atmosphere and good food that made our first stay so enjoyable, although we had found the hotel a little tatty around the edges. Since then the hotel's name and management have changed and - apart from a small 'spa' in a shed (where... more

This may seem a bit strange we stayed in this hotel in 2000 I was just checking out the new resort at Lovers Beach (Verandah) and just had to have a look at Dian Bay. I remember it as Mango Bay and my husband and two children visited here in October 2000. (It has obviously changed to an adults only... more

Beautiful views from dining and bar areas. Food average, at best. Staff need customer care training. Main issue - rats scampering around dining area and bar during the evenings. Local rep. did her best to get the hotel management to recognise and deal with the infestation. more

We had such great hopes for a quiet get away without any kids, there is so much potential here but it all falls so short, that is except for the food. Tucked away down a pot holed track is a lovely setting on a quiet secluded bay near Devils bridge. The public areas are pretty good, with three nice pools... more
