My fiance and 36 family members and friends stayed up and down Dickenson Bay, Antigua for our extended wedding celebration. Buccaneer Beach Club was our 9-person Base Camp for the week before the wedding and for a few days afterwards. Simonetta and her dedicated staff made our trip absolutely fantastic! We wanted for nothing...they went above and beyond our expectations... more

We are offseason travelers and our experience with the Antigua as well as the neighboring islands may be different for you, that said we found the hotel/apartments a great place to stay with clean rooms(daily), a wonderful staff(especially Alvin), and great small homey feel. This is not a resort so do not expect free drinks and food, this is more... more

We have just arrived back from Antigua (Sept 24th - Oct 10th 2009) staying at the Buccaneer Beach Club. First a word or two about us. We are very independent travellers who typically book a flight, pick up a car and go from there. On this occasion we realised that Antigua is a small island, with a lot of all inclusive... more

My husband and I just returned from a one week vacation at the Buccaneer Beach Club! We have traveled quite a bit to various islands in the Caribbean and like to visit the smaller hotels along with the non-all-inclusives so that we can get a true "feel" for the island itself. If you are looking for a mega-hotel complex with... more

Stayed at Buccaneer Beach Club for one week and hated to leave. The hotel grounds and units are in impecable condition. Everything is meticulously taken care of. The employees were all very nice and always cleaning or doing some sort of gardening task. The security is like Fort Knox! There are 16 one bedroom units in four buildings of four... more

A small complex of 18 apartments of which 16 are 1 bedroom apartments with the two off 2 bedroom cottages facing directly on to the beach which is about a 3/4 metre walk from the cottage front door. Stayed in cottage 2 (4 in party) which is right on the beach with only a small fence between the verandah and... more

Note, that the reviews here (including mine below) are for Buccaneer Beach Club (I believe Buccaneer Cove might be something else)...so just take note. This is not a hotel but a great little complex of self-service apartments -- only 18 or so. Don't expect a lot of services (they don't even have a bar or restaurant), but there is a... more

We are enjoying our stay at Buccaneer Beach Club in Antigua...and are able to report "live" because there is a LAN computer connection for our laptop. They opened in 2007, right on Dickenson Bay next to the Coconut Grove restaurant and Siboney resort. The resort consists of 20 well- appointed self-catering apartments with nice little kitchenettes and spacious baths, A/C,... more
