My fiance and 36 family members and friends stayed up and down Dickenson Bay, Antigua for our extended wedding celebration. Buccaneer Beach Club was our 9-person Base Camp for the week before the wedding and for a few days afterwards. Simonetta and her dedicated staff made our trip absolutely fantastic! We are offseason travelers and our experience with the Antigua as well as the neighboring islands may be different for you, that said we found the hotel/apartments a great place to stay with clean rooms(daily), a wonderful staff(especially Alvin), and great small homey feel. Stayed at Buccaneer Beach Club for one week and hated to leave. The hotel grounds and units are in impecable condition. Everything is meticulously taken care of. A small complex of 18 apartments of which 16 are 1 bedroom apartments with the two off 2 bedroom cottages facing directly on to the beach which is about a 3/4 metre walk from the cottage front door. Note, that the reviews here (including mine below) are for Buccaneer Beach Club (I believe Buccaneer Cove might be something else)...so just take note. This is not a hotel but a great little complex of self-service apartments -- only 18 or so. Don't expect a lot of services (they don't even have a bar or restaurant), but there is a... more

Great new property in the Runaway Bay area of Antigua. Very modern ammenities. Poolside or beachfront you can't go wrong. Walking distance to excellent restaurants. more

We are enjoying our stay at Buccaneer Beach Club in Antigua...and are able to report "live" because there is a LAN computer connection for our laptop. They opened in 2007, right on Dickenson Bay next to the Coconut Grove restaurant and Siboney resort.
